Very stylish and decent power on the road and nice amenities. Full sized spare with matching wheel. Great sound system

limited aux storage space inside and could use a little more legroom in the rear seats.

An excellent buy for the price on a used model

The handling of the vehicle. Very minimal repair issues. Actually, no repair issues than general maintenance items. Does extremely well in 4 wd. Comfortable.
Cons:
No dislikes.
Overall review:
The Grand Cherokee is a great all around vehicle. Will most likely buy another because it is great.

Owner since new
by Southwest Tom on 06/25/2010.
Trim: 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD, Owned 9 years.

Pros:
We bought this new with 4.7 V8, now has 120,000 miles with no problems. Vehicle is still tight - no rattles, gets 17.5 mpg in town and 20 to 22 on Interstates in southwest with AC on at 80 mph. All accessories including overhead display, steering wheel radio controls, etc., all work great. Got 45,000 miles from OEM tires. Then 80,000 from a set of Michelins.
Cons:
Seats could be improved. I, at 6'2", 200#, have to use a small pillow in base of driver's seat to avoid back of leg pain after 2 to 3 hours of steady driving. Rear seats are uncomfortable for an adult my size.
Overall review:
Performance and reliability have been outstanding - best vehicle we've ever owned, including a slew of imports. I strongly recommend the Grand Cherokee with the V8 and full-time all wheel drive.

My first Jeep
by CPL James D Williams on 04/13/2010.
Trim: 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD, Owned 3 years.
2
Pros:
I love the inline 6 motor. A real powerhouse for torque. Not at much top end as the V-8 but well worth it. Bought mine used and for my first jeep I am at 270,000 plus and in love with my Jeep. And the offroad rocks, love the selec-trac in the ice and snow. No major problems and since i follow the maintenance guide in the back of the Owners Manual this thing runs like a Champ still and has no trouble passing any emissions tests. If you do the homework on it and check the carfax report you'll definitely keep this one for years
Cons:
LOL GAS CONSUMPTION. My wallet hurts
Overall review:
Buy one. Follow the guide for upkeep and have fun
