A top-notch Convertible!

Pros:
I own a 2001 Sebring LXi Convertible and love vitually everything about it - Styling, Ride, Performance, Reliability, Roominess, Comfort and the excellent Infinity stereo system, just for starters. I should also mention that the gas mileage of the 2.7 liter engine is excellent - over 30 mpg highway, mid 20's overall.
Cons:
The only negatives are that some parts are buried such as the thermostat, and the battery (in the driver's side front fender).
Overall review:
I've owned a number of covertibles over the years from VW Carbriolets to Saab 9-3s, and I must say that when all is said & done surprisingly I prefer the Sebring LXi over the much more expensive Saab. The styling of the Sebring is absolutrly drop-dead gorgeous, but styling alone doesn't make the car. It is the combination of room, ride, quiteness, comfort, performance, handling, gas mileage, a great stereo, and so much more that make the Sebring Convertible an excellent choice. Did I mention that it is an extremely reliable vehicle as well? Chrysler had been criticized for issues with reliability, but I've owned a number of Chrysler products and find them (and my Sebring) to be extremely reliable. I would not hesitate to purchase another, but hope to own this one for many, many, mnay years to come. I must say, based on the "nearly new" condition of this 12 year old vehicle inside and out, it is certainly aging very well. I absolutely love it!

Be careful!

Pros:
I owned this car for about 2 years and loved to drive it. It's a big improvement over the 1997 version I owned.
Fun to drive - Motorized top - Good acceleration - nice styling - good insurance rates for this type of car
Cons:
I fixed the following while owning it and still kept running into more problems: elecrtical harness problems - oil leak - rack and pinion - A/C - Window - Brake switch - Oil pump - new top - rear defogger - new visors - belts - one remote - factory stereo - shocks - alternator - I'm sure there's more. The car had about 70k miles on it when I sold it.
Overall review:
I loved this car. I just hated the money and constant repairs. Chrysler, If you are reading this, PLEASE build a better car! Please!

Great looker, but need a mechanic in the family.

Pros:
Very fun car, comfortable. Handles well, even in snow. Love the top - no problem with the top control, have the 5 cd changer and works great.
Cons:
The suspension wears out very fast. We have replaced the ball joints, arms at least twice in the car. New head on the engine at about 80,000 miles, Good thing we have a mechanic in the family - and he hates working on it. We needed to replace the thermostat - took him over 2 hours as he said that he needed to take apart 1/2 the engine to change a $5 part.
Overall review:
It has been a fun car, but a little too many repairs needed.

Not a good investment

Pros:
The car has been a lot of fun- good acceleration.
Cons:
Maintenance problems, paint problems, oil leaks, the convertible top doesn't work, the heat and a/c doesn't work...
Overall review:
The car was fun at first, but with only 60,000 miles it developed an oil leak that has been unfixable- leaving me with a smoking car under the hood. On top of that, there have been a lot of cosmetic issues- foggy headlight covers, paint is oxidizing on all panels, convertible top motor doesn't work, leather seats ripped at stitching.
