I really have one. by Keith on 11/06/2002. Trim: 2001 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL500, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Tons of power, just feels good. I waited many years to buy this car and I just love it.

Cons: I have the sport and the ride is kind of hard and wiggly on some pavement. Fifth and forth gear are too close on the console. I drove at 75mph for 52 miles in forth gear. Engine is so smooth I never knew the difference.

Overall review: As I said before, I waited many years to but this car and I still love it. The 03 makes mine look a bit dated however I saved tons of money. THe car costs way too much but nothing else come close in feel.

Cons: price it is not comfortable rear view mirror does not dimm

A GREAT, FUN, GOOD LOOKING CAR by Roadking on 06/27/2010. Trim: 2001 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL500, Owned less than 1 year.

Useful?

Pros: The beautiful lines of the car. It doe not look like a it was driven under the back of a truck, pushing the grill and headlights on a slant.

Cons: It is a little hard to get in and out of, but it is a sports car not a 2 door sedan. Would like to have a handle like the hard top has, on the front windshield frame to be used with the convertable top up or down.

Overall review: A fun car to drive. Always gets positive reaction from other drivers, especially with the top down.
