very nice balance of all categories by Wildman in Alabama on 11/02/2001. Trim: 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros: Quick handling, nice power and smooth ride. Excellent value especially with 0 % APR financing for 5 years !
Cons: A little too much body roll in hard cornering, steering too fast at higher speeds. Cheap looking interior finish but am happy to cut costs here rather than performance, structural integrity.
Overall review: Wanted to buy an Acura TLS but 5,000+ more cost and same or more $ for financing you gotta be kidding. This is a great value for category and will give you 90 % + of all categories without the extra 10 grand. Drove a lot of cars in the category but am very happy with the overall product. NOTHING else is close.Cars tested include Passat,300M,325i,grand prix, saturn, infinity, lexus, camry, avalon you get the idea.

Intrigue it's whats for breakfast by thirsty in Romeoville on 03/24/2001. Trim: 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue GLS, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros: I like the quietness of the cabin, the responsiveness on two lane roads, and I like the double takes and stares I get when I roll past the bus stop.
Cons: The limited control of the radio when using the steering wheel control. Front cup holders are akward to use
Overall review: The Engine in this model rocks. the seats are comfortable and the steering and braking are above average. I would definately recommend this vehicle to any one

A well conceived american automobile by Don from Indy on 03/08/2001. Trim: 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue GX, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros: The styling is sleek without being way out there. The interior is modern and doesn't seem like generic G.M. I particularly like the dash lighting and the placement of the ignition switch. The engine has plenty of get up and go with good fuel economy. The struts for the trunk lid are a nice touch. The handling is well balenced for a car this size and the overall ride is slightly firm but handles larger bumps quite well. The noise levels are not limo.quiet but should suit most tastes just fine.
Cons: The initial build quality could be better - a loose exterior trim piece when car was purchased, and several fit and finish flubs, but nothing too major. The car could use more low end torque . This car could use a good dose of modern safety equipment such as front pretensioners for the seat belts, a rear center lap belt, and side air bags as an option.
Overall review: In the few months of owning this vehicle I feel it is a solid, well designed automobile that can even be a little fun on the right highway. If your finances permit, the moonroof is a nice addition and is popular with my kids.
