Good van if it is the only one for the price range. by Jacob on 08/19/2010. Trim: 2001 Chevrolet Express G1500, Owned 8 years.
1
Pros: Spacious, comfortable. Good interior layout.
Cons: The quantity of mechanical issues.
Overall review: Decent. Not the most solid built van ever but, good enough if that is what is available. Can have bigger mechanical issues even at low mileage.

Reliable van by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/03/2009. Trim: 2001 Chevrolet Express G1500, Owned 8 years.
1
Pros: Reliable van for the last 8 years and 290,000 miles. First transmission lasted 226,000 miles. First engine still going strong.
Cons: A bit top heavy in windy or turning conditions. Would always recommend side cargo doors on passenger side to have glass for views at turns and passing situations.
Overall review: This van has been very good to me and I have kept it well serviced. I will probably replace engine and transmission as long as they are available in the future.

Overall great van by Paul From PA on 02/04/2007. Trim: 2001 Chevrolet Express G3500 Extended, Owned 1 year.

Pros: This is a great running and handling van for its large size. Beside routine things its been trouble free. I have own this van almost a year with 106k miles on it I have put 31K of them on in less than a year times with no real problems.
Cons: gas milage isn't that great got 14 mpg when I bought it and even now after a complete tune up still only getting 10.6 mpg
Overall review: A great van worth owning.

THE ROLLING FAMILY ROOM by Dad from Saginaw, Michigan on 08/23/2001. Trim: 2001 Chevrolet Express G1500, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The Chevrolet Express LT is the perfect vacation/extended ride time vehicle I've ever driven the performance and handeling are much greater than what you would expect, the 6-way power driver/passenger seats excellent for extended seat time, the Boise sound system WOW!! and with the twin flipdown video monitors VCP and game docking station you won't know you have kids.
Cons: (No data provided)
Overall review: One great vehicle, heaven on wheels. Even if I did not have children to transport this would be my vehicle of choice!
