Can't get it fixed in Topeka KS by An MSN Autos Consumer on 10/11/2004. Trim: 2001 Lincoln LS V8, Owned 2 years.
Pros: The engineers did their job. It's like a BMW but half the price...(if you buy used). Don't buy new....the depreciation is horrible.
Cons: If you have a serious mechanical problem...your screwed. The apes at the dealership can't be trusted to change the oil in this car.
Overall review: This is a great car off the showroom...but goes down hill fast. At 50K it drives like twice the miles. Warantee repairs nighmarish. Replacement parts are REBUILT! Then you have inferior parts with same or even more troubles. Bad very bad! Buying used beware of any steering, braking or suspinsion items.

Great handling car! by A MSN Autos Consumer on 10/24/2002. Trim: 2001 Lincoln LS V6 Manual, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The sleeper car! Beats a 5-series or CTS hands down, in most every category!
Cons: (No data provided)
Overall review: Buy one if you can find it! The five speed is rumored to have only been a small percentage of production. Grab one when you see it! Near 50/50 weight balance. No nose-dive under the hardest of braking!

Trouble-free, Luxury Sport LS by LoveToDrive on 03/24/2012. Trim: 2001 Lincoln LS V8, Owned 8 years.
Pros: This car has been a dream to own and drive. Even with its age, it still looks like new and has been trouble-free, but I have kept it well-maintained. Mine has the sports package which makes the car hug the curves and has a stiffer ride, but great fun to get it out on the highway (the more curves the better) and just drive. I have surprised even myself with the amount of items I can get in the trunk. Have even used the pass-through from the rear seat to the trunk a couple of times. I'm sorry they discontinued this one. This is a luxury sports car without being a two-seater. I have a V-8, automatic transmission and get 22-25 mpg.
Cons: No back-yard mechanics for this car. Use someone who has knowledge and pays attention to detail. That does not necessarily mean the dealer. Functions best with premium fuel. Rear wheel drive, lots of power, and low clearance isn't the best for snow.
Overall review: Great quality car with luxury details and sports car handling.
