Seden King
by SY on 03/25/2003.
Trim: 2000 Bentley Arnage Red Label, Owned 3 years.

Pros:
Royal, only for high society and rich owner.
Cons:
Fast....... the fastest seden in the world.
Overall review:
Many Bentley's owner said service is expensive. I don't care, I like the car so much, money is not the object. If you can afford to buy the car, why can't you afford for the service?

Disappointed
by Car Buff from Kansas on 10/12/2002.
Trim: 2000 Bentley Arnage Red Label, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Makes a LOUD statement about class!! Interior is best ever - eeks of hand-crafted workmanship. I owned a 1999 - this one is improved in handling.
Cons:
As others have said, auxillary battery goes dead after 2-3 days if car is not driven. Warning lights come on - irritating. I have owned several Mercedes S class cars - the Bentley really does not ride as well (most Bentley owners would not want to admit this since they paid so much for the car). Also - not much room for driver's left foot. After a 300 mile ride - very uncomfortable. Bought in May, 2002, with only 4800 miles;runs rough upon start, spent $1800 on "routine" maintenance recently. Have only put on about 1,000 miles. Just approached dealer to sell back to them . . .I would take a $30,000 loss !!!! I'll go back to Mercedes - even though the plastic interior sucks!!
Overall review:
If you have the money, want to make a statement, live in a warm climate (who would EVER drive a Bentley in inclimate weather!), and are prepared to lose money when you sell or trade it, then take a chance. My passion was to always own a Bentley. After this experience, I am disappointed (about the quality AND my emotional decision to buy).

Elegant . . . but
by Car Enthisiast in Kansas on 08/04/2002.
Trim: 2000 Bentley Arnage Red Label, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Styling, powerful engine, outstanding interior, the "Statement" it makes.
Cons:
It must be driven reguarly or auxilary battery goes dead and car runs rough! Navigation system does not have the detail of streets like other cars. While the 2000 is much improved over previous years, it still does not ride as well as a Mercedes S class. "Service Required" light comes on - but no details of a problem . . keeps you guessing! Recent recalls for fuel line problems concern me.
Overall review:
It speaks of class but probably not worth the high dollars - especially when there is not a dealer close by. Will likely buy a Mercedes S600 next year.

Pros:
This car makes a very strong statement.
Cons:
The electronic brain with its warning lights can be a bit quirky.
Overall review:
Except for the Azure/Corniche, this is the ultimate driving machine. Period.
