"Ride in Style" by John John on 08/28/2008. Trim: 2000 Mercedes-Benz ML430, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I really like how the ML430 handles....it picks up gears like a small race car but also has power of larger truck. I really think that it is good to do both. The interior is great looking. The sound is awesome and the space is a A plus. Fold the chairs down you can move things with ease......
Cons: The front radio is oddly configured becuase it's very hard to reach for volume; so if your arms are not long then you don't want this vechicle. If the controls can be added to the steering wheel would improve the system. Reserve tank is little to none on test drive it ran out of gas in a few miles. Cost alot to for Key system and parts are rare.
Overall review: Proformance is awesome!!! Sweet looking ride and pretty good on gas for a SUV. Space is not a problem like other SUVs. Need to upgrade to audio system becuase of inconvent button arrangement.

noisiest truck by pam on 11/10/2008. Trim: 2000 Mercedes-Benz ML430, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I like the feel of the interior, seats very comfortable.
Cons: She rattles, trim pieces fly off, and I can hear fuel swishing when I brake...this is the noisiest truck I have ever owned.
Overall review: Feel very safe when driving.

Great design, superb handling, poor reliability with costly repairs. by Yorgo in Irvine on 12/30/2003. Trim: 2000 Mercedes-Benz ML320, Owned 4 years.
Pros: Great handling, responsive transmission and engine, thoughtful engineering and careful interior appointments make the car fun to drive, when it works, that is. Dealer support (Penske in Covina, CA) is superb: competent, trust-inspiring and courteous.
Cons: Every month something breaks down: from the serious (transmission leak, exhaust system failures (2), gear shift locking out all gears except 3rd forward and reverse) to the annoying (window switch inoperative in down position) to the merely bothersome (moldings cracking and coming off their mounts, door gasked disintegrating). Each time the bill is huge.
Overall review: I can NOT recommend this car to anyone who is looking forward to a trouble- and hasslefree ownership. The ML has too many problems that each time cost a bundle to fix; the superb engineering and design cannot compensate for the poor manufacture and assembly.
