Celica: Japanese- for Ninja Chariot by Rick In Texas on 02/01/2010. Trim: 2000 Toyota Celica GT, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I LOVE My Celica. It runs like a dream and has 190k on it. I will never own another make of car but Toyota. Japanese Cars Rule-sorry Detroit.
Cons: I wish only to fix worn seats, hatch lift stabilizers, and sunroof that leaks. But the roof still works just glass' seal is old. Check engine light on but turned out to be O2 vaccum hose was loose.
Overall review: Buy it you will love it.

Best Car Ever-I own it for ten years by Dancer on 06/23/2011. Trim: 2000 Toyota Celica GT, Owned 10 years.
Pros: I bought this car in 2001 but it was a 2000 model. I had this car for 10 years and it has about 179,000 miles on it. Virtually has been problem free until 2011. I am not complaining, how many people can say they had a car for nine years with no problems. Sure it is not the fastest car when accelerating but the 31 mpg id worth the trade off. It does handle well and has a great sporty look.
Cons: Toyota is not making them anymore.
Overall review: I would buy this car again and I will miss this car when I finally do give it up. BEST CAR EVER!

Great summer and winter car by Mike on 01/08/2011. Trim: 2000 Toyota Celica GT, Owned 1 year.
Pros: First off it looks great, i am not ashamed to pull up beside a really nice car. Handles great, plenty of leg room in the front. Its super fuel effecant, i can go almost 2 weeks on a tank. This car is a great winter car, starts no matter what the temp. is and with a set of winter tires it handles great in the winter to. Great overall car.
Cons: As with most coupes, the back isn't really ment for humans. Other than that, the only thing that im not the biggest fan of is the lack of power with the GT model. Has enoght for me, but if you want better performance go with the GTS.
Overall review: This is a great car. Got it about six months ago and i still am amazed with this car every time i drive it. Its not the most powerful thing on the road but it has enough for me (for now). I drive this car to work almost everyday and haven't had a big problem with it yet. It snow a lot where i live, this is defenantly a reliable winter and summer car. If i do buy another celica i am going for the GTS to get a little more power. I recommend it to anyone.

Celica: sporty, fun, with some cost involved by loud_pathfinder on 10/11/2010. Trim: 2000 Toyota Celica GT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: race style seating wraps body, car turns heads 140hp 4 cylinder engine has get up and go to it (unexpected get up and go power) gets great mpg if you drive it sanely i can get 30-32 if i drive the speed limit everywhere i average 24-28 though because its too fun to drive i drive it like a race car because thats what it feels like when you drive it its a fun drive with enough power to get heads turnin and take off
Cons: remember car is over a decade old engine has small problems with sensors i had to replace mass airflow sensor, idle air control valve catalytic converter and oxygen sensors all at about the same time but the catalytic converter caused the oxygen sensor problem when it clogged and blew out o2 sensors i also had to replace the coil on plug coils on all four cylinders which on the gt are $89 a piece (4 per car) and gts for some reason are cheaper at $79 a pop which is high for those parts and it can only take premium spark plugs if you use cheapies or regular ngk iridium like is oem you will burn them up in 5k miles the ngk iridium laser is only ones that dont burn up
Overall review: all in all this car runs fine just watch out for the catalytic converter it will throw engine code p0420 get it replaced asap or you will be stranded when it dies a non california emissions converter cost me $80 i live in texas never wanna go to cali so i dont care but the cali emissions ones start at $200 before install i found shop to install my $80 on for $60 which is dirt cheap for cut and weld if you do have this problem do what i did find a cheap shop and redo the whole exhaust because a performance one helps and sounds good but this car is a toyota so its a good brand but theyre dealers will not own up to the problems on this car and have to order parts almost always for this car as well

Remember its 10 years old by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/16/2010. Trim: 2000 Toyota Celica GT, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Styling, handling, braking, fuel economy.... The list goes on
Cons: Trunk lid wont stay open by itself anymore, Windshield wipers wear out fast
Overall review: I am currently driving my second 2000 Celica GT, the first was involved in an accident and was "totaled" even though i drove it to work for a week after it was wrecked. If you want a car that is fun to drive, and does not require alot of repairs then this is a great choice.
