Pros:
Good gas mileage, around 35-38 MPG.
Cons:
has had minor problems, and a couple of not so minor problems. Not satisfied with Saturn's response to some of the problems. They do not seem to care.
Overall review:
I would not buy another Saturn.

Overall review:
This was my first car that I bought through dealership (I'd owned a few second-hand lemons before) and although I was terrified at first, I realized I'd made an excellent choice. I was looking for something reliable, stylish, and most of all, affordable. The people at Saturn really worked with me and helped me find the car that was right for me. I've had this car a year and have never had problems... in a few years I will definitely invest in another lovely Saturn!

Cupholders Galore
by Vinnie Jones from Calgary on 05/16/2002.
Trim: 2000 Saturn SL2, Owned 2 years.
1
Pros:
Good looking car with a fairly sporty looking profile. Spirited performance and handling with the DOHC engine and upgraded suspension. Big enough to squeeze 6 adults in for very brief trips. Cupholders galore, among the numerous storage nooks and crannies. Stereo's not bad for a factory installed system.
Cons:
Engine's starting to get noisy with age (yeah, I know, even on this new of a car). The trunk, while spacious, is oddly shaped. I couldn't fit two large suitcases into it. Lots of little things have needed replacement, such as the tail-light bulbs and speedometer light.
Overall review:
Good car really, but the Saturn Experience is overrated. It took forever to get a car with all the right equipment. The people in the shop are pretty nice though (we've gotten to know them quite well). This is one of the few good American-built alternatives in the subcompact class.
