Great cruising car, but quite expensive when they start to get old! by Maximum150 on 12/18/2013. Trim: 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Coupe, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Powerful engine, even the N/A 3.8. Comfort is superb and makes a great highway cruiser. Beautiful to look at. Reliable engine and tranny.
Cons: Reliability is poor on mostly everything except the powertrain, wires break far too often, town driving gives you bad gas mileage but highway is pretty good, rust issues are common and the build quality is..well..american.
Overall review: Buy this car if you are an enthusiast or someone who can fix some things themselves. Don't buy an old beat up one if you really need to rely on it.
