Looks good but.....
by Disappointed in Detroit on 04/08/2004.
Trim: 2000 GMC Envoy, Owned 4 years.
1
Pros:
Good styling, smooth engine & trans. combination, like the seats and interior comfort.
Cons:
$850 for brake rotors and pads, $600 for new ignition switch, $800 for new front spindles, power folding mirrors don't, fuel gage imoperative, sunroof and driver's side window doesn't close sometimes, clunking from underbody on rough roads.
Overall review:
Good initial quality but poor reliability. Would not have bought this had I known the problems I would have!!!!!

Perfect for Anyone
by Mickeylover from Wisconsin on 03/26/2003.
Trim: 2000 GMC Envoy, Owned 3 years.
1
Pros:
Everything...The ride is superb, comfortable, and classy. Body and chassis are sound and make for a quiet and smooth ride.
Cons:
Only problem I have had was the driver side mirror. The electric mirror would not stay set. Problem was corrected immediately and has worked great ever since.
Overall review:
I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone. Its great for someone single or with a family. Its easy to get in and out of. My first one was a 1999 Envoy which was totaled after 7 months. The safety features of this vehicle are awesome. I walked away with nothing more than bruises from the seatbelt. I felt that any vehicle that could withstand a driver side impact and allow a person to walk away is well worth purchasing another one. Have owned my 2000 Envoy for 3 years and will definitely purchase another one.

my family truck
by susan from Toronto,on on 12/23/2002.
Trim: 2000 GMC Envoy, Owned 2 years.
1
Pros:
heated seats, but would prefer cloth than leather
-overhead console with digital gas, temp etc.,
-handling good, service good, auto 4x4 gives good winter handling
Cons:
sluggish acceleration, poor gas mileage -av.15-16 on mostly highway and some town driving
-have 4 door, miss a place to put my purse in the front-used to have a van that had an empty area between front seats
-console, glove compartments small
Overall review:
great vehicle. I love driving it but is on the expensive side to buy, insure and run
