Stable by Adam from Rapid City, SD on 09/14/2009. Trim: 1997 Eagle Vision ESi, Owned 1 year.
Pros: This vehicle has weathered well. I bought it in October 2008 and have had only slight problems with the engine. After buying the car, I had the timing belt replaced at 123,000 miles, 18,000 after recommended, and the water pump at the same time. The new water pump failed, and broke the timing belt, but the engine killed itself and saved the timing. Seeing as this was not an OEM part, it probably didn't have anything to do with the quality of the engine, just that part, and was replaced by the company with higher quality. Still running now with over 127,000 miles.
Cons: A few of the parts of the interior broke, such as the ashtray cover, and the moving covers over the transmission. They are minor details that don't effect the car at all, and are probably just wear and tear. Also, the gas mileage is a little low for a v6, but it makes it up in performance.
Overall review: Overall, I would recommend this car. It has good performance, good handling, and excellent reliability. I would buy it if it looks like it is held up.

THE TRAP by TAKEN on 05/12/2004. Trim: 1997 Eagle Vision TSi, Owned 7 years.
Pros: Great looking well handling car inside and out.
Cons: In self defense I purchased two extended warranties through 93,000 miles. Before the original 36,000 mile warranty was gone the water pump gave out as did the transmission, radio, heat/cool control, upper control arm and power steering pump. Overall extra outlay well above $7k for warranty and repairs. What a joke. one more water pump, EGR valve, tie rods, CV boots, heating & cooling control units (2) as well as front engine seal, vacuum line & gasket replacements.
Overall review: They would have to give me $15k for this fine example of workmanship as well as below invoice cost on a new Chysler with 100,000 mile warranty for me to buy another of their products.

Reliable! by Mike on 03/09/2004. Trim: 1997 Eagle Vision TSi, Owned 6 years.
Pros: moves well for a large car. Lots of room in passenger area and trunk. I have owned this for 6 years now and only one time has it been back for anything other than routine maintenance (leaky trans cooler line)
Cons: Exterior pieces (sills, moulding along door) have weathered badly.
Overall review: Great car. Have thought about trading it several times, but decided to keep this instead

One smooth ride - "Gramms by Gramms from Cincinnati on 03/25/2003. Trim: 1997 Eagle Vision TSi, Owned 4 years.
Pros: I've had my Eagle Vision for four years now and haven't had a problem yet, (knock on wood). I've driven literally all over the U.S. and now have almost 96,000 miles without even a hiccup in the car. I replaced the tires once and have only checked on the brakes. Haven't changed a thing to the car, except tinted windows, and oil change and tire rotation. Great car!!
Cons: Nothing at the moment, she has run like a beauty and I would recommend to anyone interested in a very comfortable vehicle.
Overall review: Gramms is what I call her. Smooth is how she runs. Reliability is what she has been. I've driven from California to Maine to Miami to San Antonio is this car. Along w/ this, I've been in the worst snow storms and even passed through a hurricane. This car has been the model of reliability and comfort along the way. Yes she's a bigger car, but she has done everything the other cars can do and with some get up as well. Keep on cruising w/ Gramms.
