Trim: 1996 Eagle Vision ESi, Owned 3 years.

Pros:
I like this car for the roominess and ease of getting two young children w/ carseats in the back. Plenty of trunk space for baseball and soccer gear
Cons:
Have had several problems with the engine. Cracked head, other problems w/ steering also.
Overall review:
Good car overall.

Excellent LH Car
by Cole from Denver, Co on 06/28/2003.
Trim: 1996 Eagle Vision TSi, Owned 1 year.
2
Pros:
The Eagle Vision TSi is great performer for its size\type. Powerful V6 engine and tuned suspension make for an easy to drive car that can handle the agressive driving, but still have an excellent ride on all the but the roughest roads. The interior is extremely roomy, rear seat passengers have more than enough leg room. The front bucket seats and floor shifter with autostick add a little sportiness to the vehicle. 7 speaker sound system is top-notch, especially with an equalizer. The exterior appearance is aggressive and good looking, chrome rims add a bit of class.Under the hood, things like spark plugs are easy to get to.
Cons:
The cons on this vehicle are in its mechanics. For example, the fuel rail has defective seals, which can leak if you are unfortunate enough to break them by moving the line between them, under the spark plug wires. The transmission, although smooth acceleration, makes you feel as though you have slammed on the brakes for a second unless you decelerate at a very easy pace. Some inside components just don't feel right with the overall initial impression of the interior: they seem cheap.
Overall review:
The pros compared to the cons, the Eagle Vision TSi was a steal at the $6,800 it was purchased for with 42,000 miles. Its excellent performance, nice, roomy interior, and great looking exterior.

Sporty 4 door
by A CarPoint Consumer on 09/06/2002.

Pros:
Comfort and performance are excellent for a mid-price sedan.
Cons:
I wish auto dealers could improve the construction of the sides and doors to prevent dents from parking lot hits. The trim guards are positioned poorly and offer little or no protection.
Overall review:
Excellent automobile. Comfortable and performs well for a four door sedan. Infinity sound system is heads above any other factory system I have heard. Handling is crisp and the car is comfortable on long road trips.
Disappointed in the chronic water pump problem, but dealers handled the replacements well.

Traveling in Somewhat Style
by ChrisKratz on 02/26/2002.

Pros:
Very comfortable. I am one with my car, have driven it solo on cross country (6K trips) twice and actually was able to sleep comfortably (horizontally) in the back seat when I needed to. Nice for long trips.
Cons:
Gas mileage on city roads is drastically lower than hi-way mileage.
Paint around the door jams is starting to peel away after only 4 years, which is pretty abnormal.
Some of the accessories are starting to wear, such as the turn signal handle, and the outer mirror surfaces. Just abnormal wearing after only 4 years of ownership.
Overall review:
I (knock on wood) have had only 1 problem with the car and that was the A/C return was leaking water into the front passenger side floor for a bit, but that was easily fixed under warranty. Maybe this is because it was originally a dealer's "demo" car, but I have been lucky so far. (crossing fingers)
