Power, handling, comfort
Cons:
Stock brakes can't handle the cars mass, if you increase the power to this car you need to address the brakes and fast.
Overall review:
Best used car that I've ever owned, might be the last one too. As I plan on keeping this car for a very long time.

Pros:
This car rips! I've owned many audis and and driven many others. I own an A6 and an A8 but none are as thrilling to drive as the S-car. I'd rather drive my old S4 than my much newer A8. It's the manual trans and that turbo boost that make this an exciting car to drive and a special car to own.
Cons:
Not as spacious as newer A6 and A8s. Seats wear too quickly (faster than the car). Trunk a bit small for all my gear.
Overall review:
I keep the A8 for the oulandish comfort, the quite ride and the space for occupants and luggage. The A8 is a lot more car and can be purchased at a reasonable price. However, these old S-cars are a hoot to drive and put a smile on my face when under boost. It's got 140K and drives like new.

Appearance, performance, ease of upgrading engine output, handling and ease of driving.
Cons:
Not too much. Possibly a bit porky at 3800lbs.
Overall review:
The best vehicle I have ever owned. Wish Audi still made this model exactly as is.
