| Pros: |
| I thought that the interior was stunning. It was very comperable to a luxury sedan. I particularly liked the cup holder for my drink. And let me tell you that is one large drink holder. The engine rumbled when I stomped on it, and purred like a kitten when idiling. Simply the best car I have EVER owned. |
|
 |
| Cons: |
| The styling could have been more futuristic. I like the rounded vehicals with alien looking headlamps and tail lights. But other than that a master piece of mechanical history. |

| I got tired of it and ran it into a concrete wall. |

| Pros: |
| Great car, never any problems. Bought it new. |
|
 |
| Cons: |
| Head gasket blew once, but that is all. |

| Overall Review: |
| Great little car. Great gas mileage and performance (trust me, it will make kids in their "sporty" cars cry). |

 |
| Pros: |
| Not too bad acceleration, radio ok for base model. If I need more room for con's, I'll add on to here.... See below. Yup, needed more room. Traded it in on an 89 Civic which went 300,000 miles without a major problem. Do the math. |
|
 |
| Cons: |
| What's to like about a car that makes an 88 Hyundai seem like a Rolls? Cheap construction, horrible 4 speed standard transmission, dreadful clutch (all 5 in 20,000 miles), unrefined engine, horrible dealer experiences, torture to drive, abysmal gas mileage for a 4 cyl, whoever designed, approved, built this car should be condemned to a life of driving it and nothing else, assuming it stayed running long enough. |

| Overall Review: |
| My mother gave me her Omni in 1989 as she wanted to get a Caravan. Omni had 20,500 miles on it, my 84 'Dodge' (Mitsu) Colt 98,000. On paper a no brainer, but dumped the Omni after only 5,000 more miles. The Colt? My friends daughter, 16 at the time, bought the car, and even now, in 2004, although rlegated to 'spare car' status as she now has a new Maxima, still runs like a charm. Need I say more?
It's cars like the Omni that give American car manufacturers (and rightly so) such a bad name. Would NEVER buy another Chrysler/Diamler/Dodge product. Horrible dealers, dreadful service practices, cars from h**l. |

| Overall Review: |
| A very nice little, I wasn't to happy when my sweetie picked this car out for me. It had been sitting for a year and a half, neglected, I need to replace the doors, it had been sitting back in the woods, looked like it had been parked in a hugh mud puddle. But it cleaned up beautifuly, and it runs really well. My daughter can't wait for me to get a new car so she can have it. It runs really good and we have a little (not a lot of rust to take care of. But I am very happy with my car now. |

| Overall Review: |
| This car, the omni, has gotten great gas mileage. never have had parts replaced, besides a broken motor mount, it starts in the cold of winter...even if it idles like crazy..but overall, it still drives ok. even though the year of it is actually a 1978 mode. |
