98 Concorde LXi by Pete in Atlanta on 02/16/2009. Trim: 1998 Chrysler Concorde LX, Owned more than 10 years.
Pros: 28 mpg on the highway, due to the airflow dynamics. Handles like a sports car - low center of gravity. Very comfortable. Large trunk.
Overall review: I bought it new - driven for 11 years, 180K miles. This car is a real champ and pleasure to drive

Concord: A Beautiful Car by Steven from Fairbanks, Alaska on 11/11/2000. Trim: 1998 Chrysler Concorde LX, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Excellent handling at high speed. Holds the road like it was glued to it, dry AND on snow. Floats over the road. Wonderful sound system. Huge trunk. The outside styling is great, with very clean lines and smooth curves. The instrument display is very easy to read, and well lit at night. Also, no mini-spare here! Full size! Smooth shifting into all gears. The back seat area also heats up well.
Cons: Engine lags sometimes under very hard acceleration. Engine also takes some time to warm up at 15 degrees (F), possibly because it's aluminum. Some cabin noise, a little more than I'd expect for a car at this price. The instrument is partially obstructed when tilt column is fully depressed. The glove box is also quite small. Needs HEATED side mirrors for winter.
Overall review: An excellent car, overall. Very dependable and reliable. Plenty of room for a family of four or five. Ride is great, and steering and suspension are very predictable. No transmission problems, either. This is definitly one of Chrysler's best cars! In my opinion, for anyone looking for a full-size sedan with good gas milage (30+mpg), this car is a definite "must-buy"!!

OK Concorde by Jim from Bloomington, IL on 11/10/2000. Trim: 1998 Chrysler Concorde LX, Owned 2 years.
Pros: very comfortable car. Roomy passenger compartment and trunk. The rake of the windshield and large dash gives an expansive roomy feel Handles and rides well. Is fun to drive, and hs plenty of power. Compared to other comparable cars has more features for the money.
Cons: Frequency of repair: replaced driver's power window motor twice, passenger once. A/C problems. Plastic facia is lighter and much more prone to damage than other manufactures' vehicles . Road noise is better than previous years, but still evident. Note: was one of the very first ones off the assembly line in Feb '98.
Overall review: Is a well styled, comfortable, roomy cruiser. Is fun to drive on calm days with no strong winds. Quality of materials leaves much to be desired.
