Pros:
I love my van. It is 15 years old and it rocks. I haul a boat all the time, no problem. It drives so great and it is really comfortable. I can honestly say that I love driving my van!
Cons:
nothin!

Great Large Van, but have a factory defect with distributer-shaft gear

Pros:
It has alot of power, and for a van its actually fun to drive. Not only is it powerful, but it can bet most common cars on take off because of its mass amount of tourq and its 220 hp. The 4.3 V6 is indistructible. you could make this thing air born and it would still drive without anyproblems except maby a wheel alignment because of how heavy the landing would be.
Cons:
If your van is running kinda wrong "like sputtering or engine light at high revs such as highway driving" its probibly your distrubuter shaft gear that connects the axle to the crankshaft. that gear is deffective and will wear down and snap after about 10-12 years (like now).
Overall review:
Put a cold air intake on it and it flys, and get upgraded fully insolated sparkplug wires because the are too close to metal objects and the charge will sometime not reach the engine bore, rather just jump to ground.

Pros:
I like everything about this vehicle. It has been so dependable and reliable, comfortable to travel in yet works like a truck and tows like a dream.
Cons:
Nothing to dislike.
Overall review:
Awesome van - too bad they quit making them or I'd buy a new one - ah well the old one is still running great!

"best minivan ever"

Pros:
This is my third Astro that I have owned. This minivan can practicly take you everywhere, it can haul my bikes, motorcycles, etc. I'm thinking in buying a new Astro next year.
My other Astro had 250,000 miles and it still run strong.
Cons:
It has the same fuel economy of a Hummer H3!!!!
