A Modest Car, A Cloudy Smooth Ride. by ND on 11/22/2010. Trim: 1996 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Mine is from 1996, currently as of the ending of 11/10, it has now 48,400 miles. Run's smoothly, got it at a super cheap price from a very very literally old family friend, I'm a "young" person. Handles really really well. Just don't drive your car like a maniac and it'll treat you well. Keep it nice to a top speed of 60-75MPH no matter where you're at and keep your speeds constant, it'll treat you very well. Has a really extremely cloudy smooth ride, almost incomparable to the suspension of tires and rotation systems in present day. Shocks and suspension on this car are the absolute smoothest.
Cons: Not much very bad I can say, the car is now 14 years old, needed 1 Alternator replaced, quick job; cheap. 48,000 miles so far, has quite a life ahead of it. If you take care of your engine, it'll take care of you.
Overall review: Good car, extremely cloudy smooth ride on all bumps and gravels. Mediocre design, but handles really really well.

Pros: I liked this vehicle because, whwen it had no problems, it had a smooth ride.
Cons: After a shirt while of owning this vehicle, things starting going out on it, like the fuel pump, and the rotors...
Overall review: it works to drive around town but it falls apart quickly

Plain vanilla by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/27/2004. Trim: 1996 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan, Owned 7 years.
Pros: Comfortable front seats, excellent AC, quiet ride, real good paint on mine (although I've seen others peeling), mostly reliable (kept mine for 4 years / 95K miles) with only 1 repair (radiator thermostat)
Cons: Blah exterior, blah interior, had a minor coolant leak starting at 40K miles although a pinch of pepper in the coolant every 5-7K miles effectively plugged the leak. Would've had to tear apart the engine to fix it, so I opted for the cheap route
Overall review: Boring but reliable transportation. Excellent value if bought used - depreciates real fast the first year for a pretty decent car.
