96 Camaro
by Phil on 10/31/2005.
Trim: 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe, Owned 10 years.

Pros:
I've owned the car for 10 years. It's a T-top with manual transmission. It's been reliable and handles well. I've gotten gas mileage around 35 mpg. It has handled well on wet and snow covered roads
Cons:
Position of cup holder. There is only one and tall cups interfere with shifting.
Overall review:
Reliable and good performing.

Epitome of A Great Car
by Brian from Upstate, SC on 04/27/2010.
Trim: 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe, Owned 7 years.

Pros:
One of the sharpest cars on the road, still. Sleek styling and the 3.8L V-6 is bulletproof if you maintain it. Mine had 118K on it when I got it. Added the aluminum wheels and 50 series tires and wow...great power for a V-6, even a tired one. Manual 5-speed gets me 22 mpg around town, 25 on the road. I'm a big guy and it's comfortable for me. Very, very dependable. Notice that the hood is held open by gas struts, not some cheap rod. Classic Chevy Thunder.
Cons:
Unless you have a lift, forget about changing spark plugs or spark plug wires yourself.
Overall review:
If you like classic muscle cars, trust me, I had a 1973 Dodge Challenger for 26 years...this is just an updated version! It sits very low to the ground, rides rough, and you can't see out of it. To me, I feel right at home and that's not a cut on the car at all...it is a true muscle car. You will most definitely get the most bang for the buck if you buy a good one. Just sit in one for a few minutes before you buy something else. It's as cool inside as it looks on the outside. Like sitting in a racecar.
