Pros:
Great gas milage..4 cyl...5 speed.
Cons:
Frame isn't the greatest. Clearcoat has been peeling like crazy (Red)
Small interior.
Overall review:
Inheriated this car from my father before he passed away...I drive it to work and leave my '05 F150 at home.
102,000 miles on it now...runs good...easy to work on/change plugs etc.
Live in Ohio so it does have some lower body rust, sanded it and applied truck bed liner to slow it down.

The Big Scam
by Used to be Chev customer. Hyundai, Honda, Toyota for me from now on! on 12/16/2008.
Trim: 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier RS Sedan, Owned more than 10 years.
1
Pros:
Great MPG. Easy to drive. Dependable.
Cons:
Not too comfy interior. Short legroom
Overall review:
Bought my '93 Cavalier new in '93. Kept maintenance always. Why do they make the frame so flimsy? My Cav rode like a new car, but couldn't get it inspected because of rotting frame, impossible to weld, etc. Will never buy another car with this frame. Sold it for $200. Guy driving it uninspected the last year.

The Budget Gas saver.
by Brendan from Grand Rapids, MI on 05/21/2007.
Trim: 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier RS Coupe, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Great Gas millage, Got it nearly 240 miles on one tank of gas. Parts are very interchangable with other cavliers of its body style. Tight Steering. Very Reliable and easy to fix.
Cons:
Had a heck of a time reaching the oil filter. several radiator probloms but were easily fixed.
Overall review:
Over all very reliable car. The Cavaliers are very well made and very dependable. There parts are very interchangable with other cavalier and some other GM vehicles, and are also very easy to find. A great commuter car and a good teen car. If mine wernt totaled by a inept teenage female chatting on her cell phone rear ending me it will probobly have ran for another 10 years. Aside from its great millage, its also sporty and can zip along nicely, although if you have just the 4 banger it doesent have as much power, it will still get id say 30 mpg highway. Great car to get if u looking to save gas and not fork over a fortune to by a hybrid.
