All around great performer by Kevin from Redding California on 03/13/2003. Trim: 1992 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4-Door 4WD, Owned 4 years.
Pros: The 4.3L. Vortec V-6 is an outstanding engine for this vehical, plenty of power and good gas mileage are the key factors.
Cons: (No data provided)
Overall review: Overall this vehicle is a great performer. Dependable on the highway and also off road. Plenty of interior room for the whole family with the 4 door style. The Vortec 4.3L. was the smartest move that Chevrolet did for this vehicle. Outstanding Motor !!!! I have over 200,000 on this vehicle and it is still running strong.

S10 Blazer? - More like a S10 Blechk! by Shooooon - Idaho on 04/05/2006. Trim: 1992 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4-Door 4WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I purchased the vehicle for about $1900, which is a good value for an SUV. Great power and towing capability, with a strong frame. I actually flipped the vehicle on a hill while driving in poor road conditions, and other then the doors being dented and a window shattering, the blazer continued to work just fine. The cops helped me roll it back on its wheels, and I drove it home safely. It's built pretty tough. The interior inside is original and has held up really well.
Cons: Constant repairs, whining, a few issues with the breaks, the rotting smell from the heater core, six seperate fuel leaks, a leak in the emission system, exhaust leak, the 4x4 wheel drive doesn't work, gets stuck in about 3 inches of snow easily. Dashboard is cracked in several places, and seats a bit uncomfortable. Also, extremly poor gas mileage.
Overall review: The S10 Blazer is a great beginning vehicle for teenagers who just need a rough and tumble box with wheels, but it certainly is not built for comfort, ease, mileage, or overall reliability. Certainly get the vehicle checked out extensively before making the purchase - it may not even be remotely worth what the seller asks for. Great if someone needs a rough, hard-handled vehicle, and has a lot of money stashed away for the constant repairs.

Great starter SUV by BP from Upstate NY on 12/06/2005. Trim: 1992 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 2-Door 4WD, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Great in the snow/off road. Leather interior is soft and seats hold you in. Gas mileage is good for an SUV. 20-22 highway 4.3 V-6 is strong
Cons: Electronic transfer case freezes once in a while in overly cold weather(10 degrees and below). Won't shift out of 4wd until driven for about 10 minutes. Otherwise nothing serious.
Overall review: GREAT 1st truck. safe, reliable, handles well. Upgraded to a Grand Cherokee and love that too

A great workhorse by A CarPoint Consumer on 11/11/2001. Trim: 1992 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4-Door 4WD, Owned 5 years.
Pros: evry good perfroamnce for an SUV, gas mileage isn't bad. Lots of cargo room
Cons: Fuel injection system can cause headaches, and its not possbile to do many repairs yourself.
Overall review: Overal an excellent daily driver and cargo carrier. Capable of towing adequate loads with great perfomance in the snow. The fuel injection system can cause problems but the perfomacne offsets the occasional failures.

A Nice Tough SUV by Brandon on 07/24/2001. Trim: 1992 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4-Door 4WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Nice looking truck. Very powerful, can tow my 22 ft ski-boat w/ease. Also has really good pick-up for an SUV.
Cons: According to a message board, I had a very common problem w/the Blazers, a failed CPI (Central Port Injection) unit. Poppets were stuck open, and unit itself was leaking. Very costly fix, $700<---- For the Part. 4-wheel drive has now failed and been fixed 3 times. Next time, I'm just going to replace the transfer case.
Overall review: Decent little truck. Good for high school or college student w/not much money. V-6 Vortech very powerful, transmission in all Chevy's are great. a nice Tough SUV
