Good family rig by highteck hillbilly from idaho on 10/02/2007. Trim: 1990 Chevrolet Suburban V1500 4WD, Owned more than 10 years.
Pros: My bought it new in 1990 and still is running great today 17 years later. Vary few problems as has around 245,000 miles on it. Ir seems to get great gas mileage around 25MPG highway.
Cons: The paint was poor quality started to flake off after about 5 years.
Overall review: Good family rig. Have used it to pull a 20' travel trailer or 16' stock trailer. Has so far never left me on the side of the road.

To tell it like it is by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/25/2005. Trim: 1990 Chevrolet Suburban V2500 4WD, Owned more than 10 years.
Pros: Good old Suburban that kept on running . Good work truck that can do anything a $30k truck could do without the monthly payment. It's a truck to use once a while but not a daily driver. $3 gas will hurt your back!!! no i mean your bank !!! lol...
Cons: Have to work on it every weekend to keep it running in tip top condition. Gas milage is fair at 6 MPG city 10.5 MPG hwy. Ride is very rough and alot of vibration at high way speed . Always have oil leaks from engine and transmission.
Overall review: I dont know how other similar Suburban owners ( non diesel motor )rated their vehicle to 17 MPG city and 20 MPG hwy . Please if you're not trying to sell your rig then dont lie about it.
