A good used vehicle buy
by Matt on 08/12/2008.
Trim: 2000 Plymouth Voyager Grand SE, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
Handling, Power, Room, Comfort
Cons:
Noise, stereo
Overall review:
I just this van with 112,000 miles in excellent condition. Time will tell for reliability but all seems good right now. For a large vehicle the handling is great and the 3.3L engine has sufficient power to move the van. The seats are the best I have ever sat in and the room rivals my full size Ram as foar as comfort for trips goes. My wife has an SUV and I don't see any advantages other than 4WD that an SUV gives over a van. The ride, handling, fuel economy, and carge/passenger room are all better with a minivan.

The Worst Decision I Have Ever Made When Buying a Car
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 08/10/2006.
Trim: 2000 Plymouth Voyager SE, Owned 5 years.
Useful?
Pros:
It cost less than the others - initially.
Cons:
Horrible quality. Purchased with low miles in 2001. I will never buy another car from the Chrysler corp. There are known problems with this car that the company has refused to address for years - like the transmission. They simply continue to sell a car they know is junk. Suspension wore quickly. Plastic interior parts broke easily. Defective accessory belt tensioner. Alternator gone at 40k. On the 3rd transmission at just 90k. First one went at 55k. Second one at 90k. Waterpump gone at 110k. Ignition switch starting to go out. BTW - did I mention I used to work as a mechanic, and we have maintained this meticulously. All regular maintenance done as called for. Absolute peice of @#$%.
Overall review:
Avoid this car like the plague. I cannot count the number of times it has stranded us. The worst decision I have ever made in buying a car.

Trim: 2000 Plymouth Voyager Grand SE, Owned 4 years.
Useful?
Pros:
Great for taking kids on trips
Cons:
Always, and I mean always, in the shop. I have never spent so much money fixing a car. Part after part fails.
Overall review:
Not a bad price but you will make up for it in the shop.
