Amazing vehicle
by Roger from South Carolina on 01/01/2005.
Trim: 2000 Nissan Frontier SE Crew Cab 2WD, Owned 5 years.
4
Pros:
Looks with Chrome front bumper. Reliability!!!! Good looks, raised ride height, size is perfect, did I mention reliability!!!
Cons:
Gas mileage could be better. Right side exhaust manifold cracked, should be covered by dealer even after warranty.
Overall review:
This is an amazing vehicle, 115,000 almost trouble free miles. Everything works like new, have had absolutly no problems except for the manifold repalcement. Bought new in 2000. I've driven every mile on this truck and have enjoyed all of them. I would recommend this truck to anyone. If you don't need a large truck, buy one of these!!!

One Classy Design
by Big Jim Swade on 04/06/2004.
Trim: 2000 Nissan Frontier SE Crew Cab 4WD, Owned 4 years.

Pros:
I especially like the fact that the Crew Cab in this body style was only made for 1 year. Making it even more desireable.
Cons:
I could get better gas mileage, I average about 17 combined Hwy/City driving.
Overall review:
It doesn't get any better than this.

Nissan built a great little truck
by Jimbo on 05/31/2010.
Trim: 2000 Nissan Frontier XE Desert Runner 2WD, Owned 10 years.
2
Pros:
As original owner I can state this truck has had no major problems, everything works. Only replacement parts were front brakes and tires & fuel sending unit recall fix before any damage...great truck with 4 wheel drive frame, suspension and skid plates, but in two wheel drive with posi-traction rear axle...it truly is a Desert Runner...
Cons:
No problems, brake pad on one side broke & had to have front brakes done and other than that and a set of tires at 35000 miles it's not had any problems.
Overall review:
Sorry to say, my low mileage, one owner, no rust, bondo, 1 small door ding otherwise perfect body truck is worth much more than the max price that they have shown here. You couldn't replace it for less than $13000...My second Nissan pickup, no problems with either, 140,000 miles on first and 52000 miles on this one...so Nissan builds a dependable truck if you take care of it...

A truck
by Stuart from Tallahassee on 01/30/2004.
Trim: 2000 Nissan Frontier XE King Cab 2WD, Owned 3 years.
2
Pros:
Fuel economy, bed extender.
Cons:
Quality, you can certainly tell it was not built in Japan!! The performance something to do with the gearing? thats probably why the fuel economy is good!! I just can't help comparing the workmanship to my old 88 Mazda B2200. I wish i would have had the money to buy Toyota!
Overall review:
I now understand how Nissan went from the brink of bankcruptcy to turning a profit!!! maybe it will bite them in the backside in the future. I don't think i would recommend Nissan.
