Pros:
i am a "no frills" kind of car owner and i love that this one has all of the amenities that i love, and none of the stuff that i would never use...perfection! it's a great, fun ride and i am always comfortable. whether i am driving around town or cross the u.s. i always love my xterra!
Cons:
the only thing i wish was different was that there would be easier access to the rear seats. getting into the back seats via the doors can be tricky.
Overall review:
love my xterra and can't wait to update to next years model!

XTERRA (ROUGH AND FUN)
by xterra fan on 04/28/2012.
Trim: 2000 Nissan Xterra SE 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
rugged looking with the build quality and engines to back it up the interior is comfortable and spacious the exterior makes it look like it was born to roll in the mud and have fun doing it definitely looks better than a jeep and is more rugged w/ less trouble alot less
Cons:
rides a little rough but its acceptable as it is an suv designed for people who use suvs for what they were designed for, going off road, not driving kids to soccer ect.
Overall review:
i just bought this suv last week it has 145k miles on it so its been used but its running great no issues so far mine is 2wd 3.3l engine and ive taken it way off road and it was fun it rides rough on tarmac but thats alright for me as it is a real suv based on the frontier it has a truck frame and suspension so the feel is like i want it if you love nissan as i do but want a smoother riding suv try the pathfinder it rides a little lower and feels like a car (my 98 did) if you want the jeep wrangler or ford bronco ect feel get the xterra because it will last you alot longer then the competition and be just as much if not more fun

Good Truck
by Jay, NY on 06/23/2009.
Trim: 2000 Nissan Xterra XE 4WD, Owned 8 years.

Pros:
I love this car. I have had it since 2001 and it has never given me any trouble. It's going on 108,000 miles and still kicking. Like was mentioned earlier, interior is plastic so not a lot of trouble there. It's slow to accelerate and the MPG's not so good but it can't be beat for reliability. I haven't had to make one major repair to mine yet. I highly recommend this vehicle.
Cons:
mpg
slow to accelerate
Overall review:
Excellent
