Pros:
I think Maxima is one of the best cars around bar none. I have driven Maxima since 1992 and have found them to be one of the best cars around. Watch out Honda and Toyota the new 2004 is out , long live Nissan!!!!!!!!

Worse than any American car

Pros:
No pros at all, although is bought it because is made in Japan.
Cons:
Tons of problems: all sensors faulty, engine stops at every trafic light, check engine "ON".
Trouble came at 113K km, paid thousands, no support from Nissan Canada.
Overall review:
Very weak quality, complex with not enough tests before launch

Pros:
I have owned one for 5 years and i love it, great car all together. I plan on keeping it for another 5 years.
Cons:
Not much. Only my leather seats have shown an abnormal wear and tear, but that is it. No major problems at all.

Great car. Worth every cent.

Pros:
Overall this is the best vehicle I've owned. It is incredibly fun to drive and very comfortable.
Cons:
The only thing I dislike about this car is that the leather on the steering wheel and gear shift have shown abnormal wear.

Pros:
Good Power, Great Sound System, Great Style, Great Service
Cons:
Sub Par OE Tires, Needs Recall for Ignition Coil Problem, Unreal Torque Steer, Winter Driving Adventure, Road Noise, Feel Every Imperfection in Road, No in-dash cd changer was avaiable for this model year.
Overall review:
Overall, it's difficult to say anything bad about this car. I've had mostly trouble-free driving in the 4+ years I've owned the vehicle. The only major repair was replacing the ignition coils. According to Nissan service, this is a common problem for this model. However, Nissan will not cover under warranty nor will issue a recall. I blame my only official warranty repair on myself (blown subwoofer). What can I say... I like my music loud. Otherwise, if you keep up with your regular maintenance and keep the car clean (for body integrity), it will drive and look like the first day you got it. My biggest reservation about upgrading to a newer model is whether Nissan will correct a blatant engineering error (ignition coil). However, I have owned worse. Stay tuned...
