The best Mercedes S-class ever

Pros:
I have a 2000 S500. The car is fantastic. It is very smooth and silent. The back has a great amount of room. When you drive this vehicle it makes you drive more. The sun shade,sat nav, and seats are great. The rear seats are standard while the front seats are heated with lumbar support. The engine has a good amount of power. I can truely say that this vehicle is pretty good on gas. The COMMAND system is very good. Everything is put in order. It is a Fantastic car.
Cons:
Now the down side of it.It is very big and to hard to park in small spaces. When it comes to repairs it is expensive. Some options not standard like massage PULSE,distronic,ajustable rear seats,and private rear ventalation.
Overall review:
Very advanced car. Nice to drive. Also very good price. Unlike Bmw 7 series it is good for long trips and dosen't over heat. A very nice car to have.

Pros:
Almost everything! I still look forward to driving everyday. Great car for extended trips. Even on 10+ hour trips you arrive fresh and relaxed. It's like sitting on the coach watching TV.
Cons:
GPS was state of the art I guess in 99 when I bought the car but now it is a joke.
Overall review:
Excellent car. If you maintain it to MFG specs it will give you years of dependable service. Service is expensive but a whole lot cheaper than the payments on a new one.

dash controls hard to read, uses sign langues I don't understand

A masterpeice to look at and to drive. Great German workenship. It has everything a car person wants.

Pros:
Smooth. The Designo package makes it special:always gives me a smile.
Cons:
Outdated GPS. Touchy brakes till I added drilled and slotted rotors.
Overall review:
I often think it would be nice to have a 2003 S600 with the new V-12 but then again, S-class cars are not for kids and I stopped being one a long time ago.

can't say anything negative,bought a 2005 if it ever gets here

Costs alot to own but worth it
