Destined to be a classic! by Ronster in NY on 12/25/2011. Trim: 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Cabriolet, Owned more than 10 years.

Pros: I bought this car in 1998 from a web photo, sight unseen, plunked down a deposit and waited 10 months to take delivery. I haven't been disappointed since! I just love how I feel behind the wheel of this gorgeous car. Not a moment of regret in almost 13 years!
Cons: The radio is subpar, and the CD changer in the trunk seemed cool at first, but not convenient at all. The blind spot is notorious. Driving in the snow is downright scary! I've since acquired a Ford F150 for winter driving, and leave my baby in the garage till Spring.
Overall review: I want to own this car forever, and be buried in it when I die. I will never need another car, as this is by far the coolest car I've ever driven. The rear seats come in handy when needed. I will never tire of the rush I get cruisin' with the top down. I pamper this baby, and my dealer has taken excellent care of her. Even with the expensive maintenance, I just don't see a better value out there. This is such a beauty!

Mercedes Cabriolet-an accident waiting to happen by andy on 01/24/2004. Trim: 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Cabriolet, Owned 5 years.

Pros: I have owned this car for 5 years...I LOVE the car in the spring, summer and fall of the year..It sits garaged in the winters when the top cannot be put down......
Cons: It is driven strictly as a convertible..as the BLIND SPOTS when the top is up is it's WORST feature.... The cell phone that came with the car is archaic...only dual mode...but it does offer speakerphone..However, I have stopped using the Mercedes Motorola phone since my local service gives me a better phone ( tri mode- cheaper to use) ....
Overall review: I would NOT buy this car again STRICTLY on a BLIND SPOT reason...it is impossible to pass in highway lanes using any of the mirrrors...sort of just put on the blinker and GO! But when the top is down, it is a DREAM..............

Fair Weather friend by A CarPoint Consumer on 09/25/2002. Trim: 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Cabriolet, Owned 4 years.

Pros: Great looking and fun to drive with the top down.
Cons: Dangerous blind spots making changing lanes and backing out of parking spaces a real challenge. Best to drive only with the top down.
Overall review: Not up to Mercedes standards in safety and design.

Initial Mercedes by Perry on 07/11/2001. Trim: 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK320, Owned 3 years.
1
Pros: It's handling, comfort and style.
Cons: It's price... even an oil change is $85.
Overall review: Very smooth, easy handling... turns on a dime. The gears shift appropriately and the car maneuvers well anywhere... on a highway or in a parking lot. I drive an Oldsmobile as well and the turning is laborious... it requires a three point turn for the same radius as a single turn of the Mercedes. I had an Infinity (J30) and the gears sometimes jerked as they shifted especially up an incline. I had a Supra and it was good, but the Mercedes has as much opening power... except that it is an Automatic.

Sexy coupe by San Jose, Ca on 05/30/2001. Trim: 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK320, Owned 2 years.

Pros: Beautiful car. Fantastic ride. Excellent leather. Fun to drive, and still gets a lot of second looks.
Cons: AMG 5 spoke wheels should be standard. Interior materials could be better. Dealer replaced dash pad after 29K miles, because it was splitting at the passenger air bag seam. Dealer had to fix squeaky seats because the leather was rubbing against the plastic trim pieces.
Overall review: I love this car, and would highly recommend it.
