Exceptional Value by Cruising in Florida on 10/03/2002. Trim: 1999 Infiniti Q45t, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Everything!! from performance to quality of detail to comfort this is the finest automobile I have owned.
Cons: I've not found anything I dislike other than not having purchased one sooner!
Overall review: I would strongly recommend this automobile to anyone entertaining purchasing a Mercedes or BMW...........having had both of these autos, I find the Q45t a better auto in all respects.(not that these 2 autos are not quality products)

very smooth automobile.... by jagalag on 11/30/2012. Trim: 1999 Infiniti Q45t, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: strong V8 roar.... reliable powertrain.... perfect for boosting with rear mount turbo.... comfy seats... The quintessential Gangster Car.... Gets you noticed!!!
Cons: like everyone else.... small trunk. due to weight distribution of fuel tank... no dual zone climate control....annoying mood light shining on center console at night... abysmal gas mileage...factory shocks/struts are cost prohibitive...Knock snesors usually fail at 100K and cost close to $1000 to replace.
Overall review: These are a good value on the used car market, especially if you can find the touring model....effortless cruising at highway speeds, and good passing power too...replace the silly stock stereo.... worth it for the cost of gas...

99 Q45 - Real Review - previous review = pffffffffhhhhh by CheckVelocity - Nashville, TN USA on 01/02/2003. Trim: 1999 Infiniti Q45, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Easy living, fast driver, that loves 90 -100... All day. Good handler if you keep it legal. Very quiet at speed. Depreciated value is a true bargain. Super fine seats when buffed shiney by cute tasties, and they're comfey too. Simple controls that the fingers find easily. Car's like an infomercial - "Just set it, and forget it"
Cons: Stereo lacks in depth and needs about 600 more watts :) Arm rest needs more padding. Tire noise at low speeds. Fat arssed owner before me mashed the left thigh support pretty good... Watch for that. Dealers are mostly competent but keep this car in warranty as long as possible for repairs are typical lux. Body roll is like a big hog rolling over at higher speeds - 80+. NOT a snow car unless true a true winter set is on. Needs 40 hp on the low end to make it real fun.
Overall review: '99 58K $18,600 eBay. 20 mpg average with 100 city and 550 highway miles per week. 60K dealer service $750.00 Anyone who does alot of windshield should time should consider this on top of a list. Low profile performance tires and window tint are a must. If you like fast, put springs on her, or buy a Q45t.... I would next time. I still highly recommend this Black Rain mafia lookin' rod. Hmmm, I need to find someone to put the new 4.5 340 hp engine in this car. Two reviews sum this car well at automotive.com for the '99 and at edmunds.com for the '97. Watch the movie Bullitt sometime. Really.

1999 Infiniti Q45t; a rare car well worth the price by What About Bob in Cleveland on 10/08/2013. Trim: 1999 Infiniti Q45t, Owned 2 years.
Pros: strong engine; great ride; incredibly reliable; rare; very easy car to maintain; plenty of room; speed when you need it;
Cons: seats could be better - they are a bit flat and unsupportive; however they are comfortable enough for long trips
Overall review: overall this is an excellent vehicle; well worth the money if you can find one.
