Pros:
Everything!! from performance to quality of detail to comfort this is the finest automobile I have owned.
Cons:
I've not found anything I dislike other than not having purchased one sooner!
Overall review:
I would strongly recommend this automobile to anyone entertaining purchasing a Mercedes or BMW...........having had both of these autos, I find the Q45t a better auto in all respects.(not that these 2 autos are not quality products)

Pros:
strong V8 roar.... reliable powertrain.... perfect for boosting with rear mount turbo.... comfy seats... The quintessential Gangster Car.... Gets you noticed!!!
Cons:
like everyone else.... small trunk. due to weight distribution of fuel tank... no dual zone climate control....annoying mood light shining on center console at night... abysmal gas mileage...factory shocks/struts are cost prohibitive...Knock snesors usually fail at 100K and cost close to $1000 to replace.
Overall review:
These are a good value on the used car market, especially if you can find the touring model....effortless cruising at highway speeds, and good passing power too...replace the silly stock stereo.... worth it for the cost of gas...

Beautiful Black Classy Look

Pros:
I bought my Q45t on ebay when it was 4 yrs but only had 22k miles. It's a black beauty with the parchment interior. Very comfortable and great on the highway. For a large car, mileage is good: 19-20 day-to-day (mostly 45-50 mph) and 23-24 hwy (70+). It's now 13 years old with 148k miles and I still get compliments on its looks. Very few minor problems. Not a dragster, but ample performance for a luxury sedan. I prefer it to my 98 Lexus GS300.
Cons:
Trunk is small for car this large. Depending on the trip and how long I plan to stay and the stuff I have to take along, I sometimes take the GS instead just to have the necessary trunk space. Could use dual temp controls.
Overall review:
I love this car. I plan to keep it another 100k miles. When buying used, it's a better buy than a comparable Lexus, if you can even find one for sale. It seems most owners don't want to part with them.

My parents and i were looking for a car for my sister and I so that when I got my liscense, I'd be comfortable with a car. Now, being a 16 year old girl, I'm no car expert, but i LOVE this car. I knew I'd get a reliable first car, but a luxury vehicle? Never crossed my mind. Even though it's now 11 years old, it's in great condition. My parents didn't have to pay for any heavy duty work on it like replacing an engine (just a little thing-- windshield wipers). It's so easy to handle and drives much smoother than my mom's (3 year old) Jeep Commander. I love the car-- even though it's an oldie. : )
