Great Ride by Little Old Lady From Texas on 06/30/2002. Trim: 1999 GMC Yukon Denali, Owned 2 years.
Pros: great turning radius and handles great, is very comfortable
Cons: gas mileage
Overall review: If I were going to buy another SUV it would be the same model and make. The great thing is it looks just like the Cadillac but is about fifteen thousand cheaper. They come off the same assembly line but one says Denali.

Powerful, Comfortable, and Easy to Drive by Zbdaddy from Knoxville, TN on 05/19/2005. Trim: 1999 GMC Yukon SLE 2WD, Owned 6 years.
Pros: Great engine and transmission. Handles well and drives effortlessly for such a large vehicle. Very roomy with plenty of room for storage. Great view of the road.
Cons: The air ducts for the heat/air are noisy. I have had to put three starters on this vehicle and it only has 55,000 miles on it. There are a lot of squeaks and rattles in the body that I don't think a vehicle with such low mileage should have.
Overall review: I really like the GMC Yukon. For such a large vehicle it is easy to drive and very comfortable. Although, with gas prices reaching all time highs, the 16.5 mpg I get is hard to take. Fortunatly this is a secondary car and not driven every day.

The favorite vehicle that I have owned. by KEB from Arkansas. on 03/30/2004. Trim: 1999 GMC Yukon SLE 4WD, Owned 6 years.
Pros: Very nice ride. Good but careful handling because the 4wd has it sitting high. But this sucker will git up and go. Ya gotta watch out for the blue lights in the rear view mirror.
Cons: The only thing that I don't like is the rate of depreciation. That is why I haven't traded it in on a new one.
Overall review: This is a good versatile vehicle. Room for cargo, room for people, is comfortable and runs good. It is neat to be able to pull a Ford out of the sand with yer luxury SUV.

First Class Vehicle, Second Class Features by A CarPoint Consumer on 08/13/2002. Trim: 1999 GMC Yukon SLE 4WD, Owned 3 years.
Pros: (No data provided)
Cons: I would have thought that a vehicle in this price bracket would have auto door locks as a feature, but it does not. The interior dash lights have to be turned on manually, although the headlights are automatic. The remote door lock/unlock only works if one is very close to the vehicle (less then 20ft.)
Overall review: Except for the lack of some desirable features, the Yukon is a first class vehicle in both ride and handling
