Still Running! by Tomos from Ohio on 09/18/2010. Trim: 1999 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 Extended Cab 4WD, Owned more than 10 years.

Pros: Has alot of miles on it and is still running great with only one minor problem.
Cons: nothing i can think of..
Overall review: We have had this truck for 203,000 miles now and it still runs great...it just takes a little to start up when its colder. The only thing major had been a problem with the gas pump and that just took a little know-how for us to fix personally. Other than those two things this truck has been loved!

First Class 4X4 by CA of Ga. on 05/15/2002. Trim: 1999 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 Extended Cab 4WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros: I wanted one more G.M. made truck with the 350 cubic inch engine. Toughest V8 made. Love this truck. Ride is good for a 4 wheel drive and handling when the going gets rough is good as well. Gas mileage is acceptable. Better than Ford or Dodge from what I've heard from owners of these two makes.
Cons: Busted a front shock at 74,000 miles, but the manufactuer of the shock is at fault not G.M.C.
Overall review: I debated between the Classic model Z71 and the New model. I'm glad I went with the Classic. Had to have one more 350 while I could get one. Only big problem I have is, I can't drive it enough.

GREAT TRUCK by Trent on 08/27/2012. Trim: 1999 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 Extended Cab 2WD, Owned more than 10 years.
Useful?
Pros: love the body style, has power to spare. interior is very roomy. drives like a luxury car, in 13 years only have had a few problems , Third door is convenient
Cons: definately not a gas sipper, back window fastener doesnt clasp properly
Overall review: LOVE this truck, its 13 years old and still looks and drives awesome! Have people wanting to buy it all the time , but shes not for sale :) The 5.7 litre is said to be a very good motor so i hope it lasts another 13 years
