Pros:
I love the Ride, driving height, roominess, comfort, towing ability, quite, and safety.
Cons:
They don't make it anymore, I'd buy a new one tomorrow.
Overall review:
I love it, I have over 200,000 miles on mine and am looking for another one but can't find them without high miles or outrageous price tag.

Pros:
Fabulous. Clean strong has the power - great ride long distance and holds up under all conditions. Limited reparis - maintain this beast and you get a great vehicle. Owned this from day 1 - 142k miles - brakes 2x - tires, never a repair more than 200. Nothing ever broke -- but I did take care - to service change oil filters etc.
Cons:
Well with gas upwards of $3 a gallon -- this is the only place you get hurt - price for power and comfort
Overall review:
I would expect this vehile to go 250k easy.

Capacity, Performance, Reliability, Safety, Versatility, Styling, Driver Visibility
Cons:
Step up heighth, Spare tire location, front dashboard design for practicality
Overall review:
Ford failed to properly promote the Excursion against its competitors. This has been the best vehicle I have ever owned which is why I have kept it for 10 years! The 4WD diesel has been virtually repair free and maintenance costs low. I would buy a new one if they were still on the market. No company offers a comparable vehicle. Overall EXCELLANT rating.

Pros:
The best vehicle I have ever owned. Versatile, dependable, well constructed, no squeaks or leaks after 91,000 miles. If at all possible, my next vehicle will be a newer excursion
Cons:
Gas mileage of course

Pros:
I really love the drivers view as opposed to driving a smaller car. I actually feel safe in my excursion. It really comes in handy when hauling stuff or people. I installed a "Gas Tornado" to help with the fuel and it really works. I average 12mpg/city and 17mpg hwy. 172,000 miles and counting.
Cons:
Difficult to find a parking spot sometimes.
Overall review:
Keep up with the maintenance and the vehicle will not let you down.
