A Total Lemon

Pros:
Looks decent enough for a small economy car and gets me to work everyday.
Cons:
Nearly everything broke on it before 100k, including but certainly not limited to the transmission, belt tensioner, radiator, door locks and air conditioning. It has cost me a fortune in repairs and has detoured me from buying domestic.
Overall review:
Seemed like a good deal at the time but now I know otherwise.

Not a NEON Fan

Pros:
the warranty- I bought it new.
the bells and whistles when they work.
Roomy interior for a small car.
Cons:
The heater/ a/c blower likes to quit working (shop trips for problem 4); the engine makes funny noisies when its cold but dealer can' t find anything wrong w/ it Rides rough for a car. The trunk lid likes to fall down when it's up, the only time it doesn't is when the cars on level ground and there's no wind. Does not handle well on snow or ice. My front end kissed the guard rail last winter- $1200+ to fix. Had to replace the tires @ 40k- bought coopers. The car handles a little better now than it did w/ the goodyear's.
If you're driving in the rain your best bet is to stop and wait for it to quit cause visibility stinks.
Overall review:
Will never buy a DalmierChrystler car again. I loved the Dakota a traded this pile of junk for. I'm hoping to trade it soon. So it can become someone elses problem. It takes me to the shop about every 2 months.

there is no way i can say i hate this neon.....it's good in everyway i choose to go.
Cons:
does dodge make neon going up 190 mph??
