Excellent for camping

Pros:
It has been great to travel in.
Cons:
The parts are specific to this vehicle which makes it hard and expensive for repairs.

Don't buy if your looking for GM quality.

Pros:
Roomy and comfortable on trips, good gas mileage- but it is a MINIvan.
Cons:
One bad experience after another. Van door came off track, seat upholstery coming apart, A/C comprsssor out before it had 60k, replaced coolant seals at 80k, too many brake problems to mention, drivers side power window motor sticks. The dash rattles and squeeks constantly on road trips.
Overall review:
I purchased this vehicle in 99' used but I would not buy another one of these (new or used) again. It's a good thing GM is discontinuing this model. I hope the replacement is better, maybe I'll buy one of them.

RECALL THE LOT

Pros:
Plenty of room
Cons:
GM should recall all of the Venture lines, and send to the car crusher. Then start with a clean sheet, and attempt to make a vehicle with some quality.
Overall review:
If you ever have the notion to buy this Van or another GM product, Venture carefully, (Sorry GM no pun intended).
