Best in Class Power by Forest Gump from Dayton, OH on 07/25/2003. Trim: 1997 Buick Regal GS, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Value Priced Performance Sedan. Engine runs well with best in class power. Reliable engine, radio controls on steering wheel, heated seats.
Cons: Poor fit and finish. Minor things like window trim melting and steering wheel peeling to nuisance electrical problems with front turn signal and power seat and temperature control display.
Overall review: For the price, I think that you would have a hard time finding a better value in a performance sedan. Minor fit and finish problems, which bring down overral rating from 10, but very happy with it.

Love, Hate relationship by Buick Owner on 12/19/2001. Trim: 1997 Buick Regal GS, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I love the power and handling of this car, I also love the interior room and comfort of the seating. Ergonomic controls and nice uncluttered dash.
Cons: Despite the pros the cons are very bad. I have a love hate relationship with this vehicle. I love the car when it isn't costing me tons in repair costs. I have been through 3 sets of tires, brakes have been replaced once, and rotors where worn and grooved at 60,000mi. Serpentine belt broke at 60,000 rendering car undrivable, no steering or power. Now at 87000mi and out of warranty I have over $3500 in needed repairs. PS Rack is out, oil pan leaks, both valve covers leaking, water pump is out and both rear window regulators need replacing. after paying $22,000 for the car I expected it to last longer than it has. BUick Cust service will offer no assistance for repairs.
Overall review: Great car if you can afford the repairs, I expect more quality for the money, and will not purchase a GM product again.
