Pros:
Powerful Engine, Predictable Handling, Lots of information avaliable in the Gage, Easy to understand cab, 0-60 in 7.5 seconds
Cons:
Rear kinda ugly, Seats rather uncomfortable
Overall review:
This car is great. I tested it at the drag strip one day and it got from null to 60 in 7.5 seconds. The interior is intelligently designed and easy to understand.

Pros:
This is a good solid car that, for me, handles beautifully. I like all the extras - believe I have most. Roomy inside, nice large trunk. My next car will be slightly smaller since I am the only one who drives it now.
Cons:
I would like to get better mileage.
Overall review:
Nice car. Wish I could afford another new one like it.

Buick Ultra Stripper
by Longo, from the home of 5 Stanley Cups on 03/29/2002.
Trim: 1997 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Superchrged engine moves this 2 tons of scrap iron like a rocket sled. Still a quiet freeway cruiser with a great factory, 9 speaker sound system. For a car of battleship proportions, it is very fuel efficient. With a new set of Michellin Symetry tires this boat floats over the miles.
Cons:
Buick "deconteting" has been at work on the body trim and interior. BAD ergonomics on the interior door handles and dash design. The door handles are so hard to reach there should be a saftey recall! The 'Office option' sheds its spray on, feel good covering like an old dog in the spring. The fake, 'dual' exhast pipes hang down like 2 rusty drain pipes. Re-designed head light units give the car an 'I'm confused' look'. the previous years were a more mature design.
Overall review:
Buicks were famous for the 'chrome look', thats why I bought one. They now look like they are trying to strip off everything that gave them an identity. Not everyone wants the plain vanilla Eurobox look. Give us back our chrome trim, and put back those traditional Buick features that were timeless. (and keep the Bean-Counters out of the design meetings) GM should be proud of their Buick heritage and have at least this one last car in their line up, that has withstood the ravages of cost cutting, decontenting, and pandering to the howlings of the car reviewers.

Pros:
THE WAY IT RIDES.
Cons:
THE LEATHER INTERIOR IS NO GOOD. IT HAS LITTLE HOLES COMING IN IT ALL OVER--EVEN WHERE NO ONE HAS EVEN TOUCHED IT. THE BRAKES SQUEAK REALLY BAD.
Overall review:
OVERALL, IT IS FAIR, I GUESS. I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER CAR WITH LEATHER INTERIOR,EVER.

Useful?
Pros:
Size, comfort, city gas mileage
Cons:
Nothing
Overall review:
Purchased new in '97; 2nd park avenue. Jan2010-Hard to let this car go, still drives smooth and feels like a new car. Recently took 3 major trips in a 2 month period---trying to drive car to the ground, to get something new. But, can't decide on that something new.
