I wouldn't own any other SUV!!
by Michael on 06/16/2003.
Trim: 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4WD, Owned 3 years.
1
Pros:
Just to list a few, off-road performance, styling, after-market parts, etc.
Cons:
Gas mileage
Overall review:
This is an excellent SUV. I've lifted mine with a 4" ProComp Lift, 33X10.50X15 BFG's on AR Atlas rims. The number of compliments I get about this truck is amazing. The offroad capabilities are astounding. I'll keep this truck til the day after I die.

Headgasket issues
by 4Runner Driver on 05/26/2003.
Trim: 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 2WD, Owned 6 years.
1
Pros:
For the most part it has been trouble free.
Cons:
I have had to replace the headgaskets, that cost $2000. It handles like a truck. The air conditioning doesn't work unless the car is in motion. It has no pick up. 0-60 in like 5 minutes.
Overall review:
I would have given a higher review one year ago. I have spent a lot on her in the past 12 months.

A Great SUV
by BKL from Allentown, PA on 05/16/2002.
Trim: 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4WD, Owned 2 years.
1
Pros:
Toyota reliability speaks for itself. Very few problems, non major. Rear cargo area fairly large, especially with rear seats folded down. Gagues and dials conveniently located. Seats very comfortable. Smooth riding considering it's 4wd setup. Good looking vehicle with aggressive stance especially with larger 30x10.5x15 tires.
Cons:
Rear leg room is compromised by larger rear cargo area. Very difficult for an adult to get in the back seats with front seats all the way back. Front sholder and hip room a tad snug and leg room a bit short for someone 6ft. or over. Could use a few more horses under the hood.
Overall review:
A great vehicle with head-turning attributes. Solid, reliable and fun to drive. Plenty of cargo room to haul just about anything. Wash it and wax it and it's ready for a night out. I would not hesitate to buy another 4Runner.
