MAYBE NOT THE WORST BUT DARN CLOSE! by DISSATISFIED CAMRY OWNER on 11/25/2005. Trim: 1995 Toyota Camry DX, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: POOR HANDLING. VERY POOR GAS MILEAGE FOR A 4 CYLINDER, PROBABLY INSUFFICIENT FOR SIZE OF VEHICLE (16 MPG IN TOWN - SAME AS V-6 TAURUS I HAD BEFORE IT). DRIVERS DOOR LOCK NO LONGER WORKS, HAVE TO CRAWL ACROSS FRONT SEAT - HAVE NOT REPAIRED SINCE YOU WOULD HAVE TO DESTROY THE INTERIOR DOOR PANEL TO DO SO AND THOSE ARE DIFFICULT TO FIND AND EXPENSIVE. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION IS ABOUT SHOT. DRIVERS WINDOW SLUGGISH GOING UP. PASSENGER REAR DOOR LOCK WORKS ONLY WHEN IT WANTS TO. MY WIFE WANTS TO BUY A NEW ONE BUT I AM ADAMANTLY AGAINST IT!

Nice, Affordable, Reliable by Brandon - Mechanic on 10/05/2010. Trim: 1995 Toyota Camry LE, Owned more than 10 years.

Pros: I own three Toyota Camry's (92,93 and 95). They are all great vehicles. They have plenty of interior room, drive nicely down the road, handle well, Quiet Interior with the windows down. Has a nice size gas tank too so gas lasts a long time. (15 Gallon). Its a non-interference motor too so thats a plus. If the timing breaks it really doesnt matter because your motor doesnt need major over-hauling. Just a new belt.
Cons: Styling could have been better in this year. Compared to my Honda Accord EX This car lacks in styling. The Cup holders are too small too, only holds small bottles and cans. I live in Pennsylvania, so rust is an issue as well. Two of the camry's were undercoated every year so they aren't bad but the 92 wasn't and the rocker panels and rear quarters are all rusting out and need replaced.
Overall review: These camry's are a very affordable car. Nice for the family, and very reliable. Just make sure you weatherize the under body and it will last over 300,000 miles is properly maintained!
