Great Used Car!

Pros:
Wife's car, bought in '04 after having a'88 Legend new. Absolutely luvs this car...... Has the navi, apnd the Bose system. Good power and fun to drive. She still giggles when she drives.... caused me to get a "98.
Cons:
Navi is hard-drive and not factory upgradeable, and you get only 2 states. You can get updates in which the drive unit will have to be removed. If considering, check for harsh shifting in the tranny, and exhaust color (leak down test better indicator of motor).
Overall review:
Great used Car! Minor troubles are starting to show up, but parts are inexpensively available. Would buy again in a NY minute!

Pros:
Have owned it five years. Bought it for 13K, still worth 6-7K. (This year's new models go for over 45K.) Wife drives it most, but I sometimes fight her for it because it handles so well. Acceleration is great. So are ride and handling. Because the '96 was the first year for the design and Acura kept it through 2006, I think, it still looks new or recent. Design is conservative, true, but it still looks good. I'm considering some aftermarket wheels to update its look.
Cons:
Many minor things went wrong during first three years of ownership but I had an insurance policy that covered most of it. A circuit board went out, shutting me down, totally, in the middle of nowhere with no Acura dealer anywhere near. After repairing the right rear window's motor, I just had them bolt it permanently shut when it failed a second time. Leather seats are difficult to clean.
Overall review:
I love driving this car! Am considering test driving a new one just to determine how little I'm missing. Installed new radials about four months ago and handling and traction were improved unbelievably! Tires are Michelin Hydros, just $125 each at Sam's. 85,000-mile tread.

Comfort, Reliable.
Cons:
Rear window regulator replaced at 100k miles.
One of the back lights of speed meter is off at 103k miles.
