Pros:
I lucked into a low km (94k kms on original engine), 4dr, 4wd with air con Sidekick a year ago, and I love it. It's a simple vehicle, nothing fancy. Have had no major problems, other than needing a new exhaust system, but I knew that when I bought it. Would prefer auto-locking hubs, but it doesn't snow here all that much but the 4wd has been a godsend when it has. It's been cheap to run, just regular maintenance by a good mechanic. It's a fun l'il truck that looks cute and was cheap to buy.
Cons:
Seats are a bit hard and it only seats 4 but this is my evening/weekend runabout, so that's not a big deal to me. Have to fill it up a fair bit but that's because it has a small tank for the size/weight of the vehicle.
Overall review:
Overall, I love my l'il truck. I didn't need a new vehicle and didn't want to shell out the coin for one in any case, so this was a great choice for me.

Japanese Jeep"...best for the buck!

Pros:
Great and economical 4x4. I'm over 6 feet and about 200 lbs and there is plenty of head/leg room. Good handling/reliability. Ample storage with rear seat folded. I'm very happy with my "Japanese Jeep." Live in Alaska and utilize 4wd 8 months of year. Great off road.
Cons:
No problems. Have owned 4 Suzukis since 1989. Every time I look for a vehicle, I compare and continue to come back to Suzuki.
Overall review:
My opinion is that this is a truly under-rated and under-valued car. Not much "eye catching" appeal but plenty of reliability and functionality!! I probably won't drive anything else. I guess I'm a true fan!!

Love this small SUV. Lots of fun to drive; extremely reliable. I now have 190,000 miles on her and she is going strong. Expect to get another 25,000 - 35,000 (or more) before I put in a new engine and keep on going.
