The bottom of the barrel NSX, North America's best, is still one great car. by An MSN Autos Consumer on 01/25/2005. Trim: 1996 Acura NSX-T, Owned 9 years.
Pros: Excellent power delivery, amazing acceleration considering the power. Almost perfectly neutral, I've driven a number of supercars, and this by far feels the best, even though it is not the fastest. Can't beat Honda's capability for designing a car that is so in tune with the driver that it feels like an extension of your body.
Cons: I wish it were the allmighty HONDA NSX S-Zero, or, better yet, the HONDA NSX-R. The Acura NSX is the bottom of the barrel among NSX's. But, it's the best anyone can get here.....unless of course you're willing to fork over $160,000 to import one.... Even so, I still love this car, and the performance lives up to its name.
Overall review: There is nothing specific about this car that stands out. The most significant thing about this car is how perfectly in tune every aspect of performance is. Everything, from weight distribution, to overall weight, driver control and response, power, drivetrain, etc. each aspect of performance is so perfectly set up to compliment every other aspect of performance, that's what makes this car special. That said, this car could use a little more power I suppose, but for going for a sunday rip on your favourite mountain highway, few cars could possibly compare. Longterm reliability is amazing, I've done all the oil changes myself, difficult to reach, but satisfying to do. Honda has been an invaluable source for maintenance, the local Acura dealership hardly knew what they were doing. 220,000km, and it still runs like new, though the shifter linkage may need a little tightening in a few years, otherwise this car has withstood the trials of the past ten years. Definitely a good buy.

NSXercise by GW from Washington State on 01/24/2004. Trim: 1996 Acura NSX-T, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Reliable, quick, fast always draws a crowd.Very uncommon on the street, unlike the all too familiar Porsche, Mercedes, BMW group. Extremely friendly around town, Very deadly in a contest. Like a Ferrari but made by people who went to college.
Cons: Reccomended tires wear out in 10,000 miles if pushed. Factory performance numbers compromised if not.
Overall review: If you like the reliability of a Japanese car but dream of the exotic, this is your car. It's performance is impeccable as is it's build quality (hand made). There is no other exotic car with the versilatility of the NSX. As my 60th car The NSX comes closest to the perfect exotic especially when visiting the service department.

Pros: best handling car ever. Owned Porsche, Z cars; this is the closest to a fomula car on the road.
Cons: can't be your only car.
Overall review: best car I have driven
