Power Train by Art on 04/02/2003. Trim: 1998 Saab 9000 CSE Turbo, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Aggressive acceleration. Very tuneable engine.

Cons: Rough idle.

Overall review: One of the greatest Saab. Buy 9000 for uniqueness of Saab, not GM!

SAAB wins. by sab on 07/29/2001. Trim: 1998 Saab 9000 CSE Turbo, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Appearance counts, but its a solid great performance vehicle. It wears well.

Cons: It isn't available anymore. Thanks to GMC

Overall review: This is my fourth SAAB and third 9000. Its really sad that it is no longer made. I would love a car that was similar in style, and performance.

Pros: Quiet, good acceleration, feels solid, good looking

Cons: Turbocharger blew- $1500.replacement cost outside of warranty.

Overall review: Saab seems to be the perennial experimenter and thusly never really perfects things. Too many little problems that cost big dollars.

Useful?

Pros: Small exterior, roomy and exceptional interior, excellent handling, response and power, good gas mileage.

Cons: No good warranty service currently available in New Mexico.

Overall review: Super great car, looks deceptively tame on the outside, drives however and wherever you would like it to. Handles excellent, so far no problems. Saab likes to try to think about everything. A real thinking-man's car.
