1997 Silver Spur by Doug on 04/02/2006. Trim: 1997 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, Owned 2 years.

Pros: It is incredibly uncommon. It moves as if propelled by an irrestible unseen force. It is powerful enough to move the three and a half ton vehicle with great acceleration. The materials used are incredibly beautiful (wood and leather). There is no plastic whatsoever in the interior. The handling and performance are very good. It returns almost twenty miles per gallon on the highway.
Cons: These are expensive vehicles to maintain.
Overall review: If unique and majestic are what you are looking for, no other choice is better.

Sublime Perfection by An MSN Autos Consumer on 01/02/2014. Trim: 1997 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, Owned 2 years.
Useful?
Pros: My Silver Spur has every luxury automotive feature known to mankind at the time of its manufacture. Even today, the leather is unbelievably beautiful. It looks as if it has never been sat in. Runs, rides, and drives with silky perfection.
Cons: The two things I would change if possible: I would add a telescoping feature to the tilt steering wheel and I would somehow lower the seating position or raise the headliner just a bit. At an even six feet, I just fit... a taller person would have a problem.
Overall review: I cannot believe that anyone who owns one of these beauties would compare it to a Buick. There is NO comparison. I have owned Lincoln, Cadillac, BMW, and Jaguar automobiles since the mid-1970's - the Rolls-Royce stands alone in its level of design and workmanship. These cars were built to be driven and perform at their very best when driven regularly. Maintenance costs are a bit high and major repair work can be astonomically high so it's always smart to invest in the very best example one can afford. In the long run, the ownership experience is well worth the cost. My personal experience has been that my gas mileage far exceeds the EPA ratings and is, in fact, very little different from that of the Ecoboost engine in my 2012 Lincoln. I prefer Ethynol-free Premium gasoline for best performance and fuel economy.
