Perfect car even after 13 years of driving!!!!!
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 10/06/2009.
Trim: 1996 Acura Integra LS coupe, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Style, performance, and quality.
Cons:
Cup holders!
Overall review:
This car now has 139,000 thousand miles and runs perfect. I have aftermarket intake and exhaust on the car and it performs very well when accelerating. I have had to do very little maintenance besides the scheduled maintenance (even though I have driven it pretty hard). The paint is still perfect due to the fact it has been taken well taken care of. If you take care of this car like you should then there really isn't anything you can complain about!!

A very good car

Trim: 1996 Acura Integra GS-R sedan, Owned 7 years.

Pros:
Reliable, performance, good milage.
Cons:
Too few dealers for maintenance when specialized repairs are required.
Overall review:
Very good car. Almost no problems but when you have one it requires a dealer with the necessary test equipment to diagnoise the problem. Dealer repair facilities are not available in many large cities. Replacement parts are expensive.
All Honda dealers should be equipped with the necessary equipment and trained technicians to repair Acuras.

Maximus

Trim: 1996 Acura Integra SE coupe, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
This car rocks. It performance like a bmw and has a look that you wont see on any other cars. If I could do it all over again though I would have wated for a gsr or a type r.
Cons:
The leather seats are a little on the hard side and the ABS system sucks. I am the second owner of the car and the ABS went out on the car after owning it for only two days. Now I just discontected the fuses and run on regular power brakes.
Overall review:
Bad azz, Good Gas!

Still LOVE my ACURA
by Hayter23 from Mendo, CA on 06/11/2007.
Trim: 1996 Acura Integra RS coupe, Owned 10 years.
Useful?
Pros:
Sporty, looks great, fun to drive. Very low maintanence - after owning it for over 10 years (150,000+ miles), I have only had to replace the radiator, starter, clutch (just a month ago), wheel bearing and cv joint...besides brakes (twice) and a lot of tires, of course ;-) Mine is lowered, so that may have contributed to the wear and tear.
Cons:
The backseat is small...but I've never had to sit back there :) My Acura has more than a few rattles and squeaks, but I also have a pounding system that even rattles my brain...so that's to be expected.
Overall review:
I may never buy another brand of car! I like Hondas (they last forever, too)...but I LOVE Acuras!!! My next one may be the RSX (6-speed & 240hp), which is the new Integra, as they're arent making them anymore. You should go test drive one! All of the things I didn't like in my Integra, they have fixed in the RSX!!! Check it out!
