Grand Prix Experience
by Me and myself on 03/25/2011.
Trim: 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix SE sedan, Owned 4 years.

Pros:
Great get up and go. A very smooth ride. Having a powerful FWD in Canadian winters is essential if you don't want to cough up the dough to get an AWD vehicle and this car is amazing at getting me out of tough situations or to zip up an icy hill as you laugh at the tiny 4cyl vehicles stuck in 3 inches of snow. Appearance is very nice and sleek. Prior to this year, this model looked uuuugly, but 98's are nice. Great cargo room in the trunk. Handles amazingly well. Great ABS and traction control.
Cons:
-At 260,000km I've been told I have another 30,000km left on my transmission till it packs er' in.
-Headlight case tends to get a strange opaqueness to it over time, to the point where even with high end bulbs you feel a little unsafe driving at night with no other light to guide you.
- At around 240k my catalytic converter malfunctioned causing the exhaust to back up when higher than 3000RPM's and overheat the engine.
- the spare tire that comes with the car is a very tiny donut, so get ready to drive crooked on your way to the tire shop.
-Heating is not entirely that strong
-loud engine and outside noise
Overall review:
Great car if you want to feel power and speed from a sedan that tries to be a sports car. Great touring vehicle for long distances or sightseeing. However this car will definetly will show you that it is a domestic car by it's reliability once it ages. Enjoy it while it lasts - it's a sweet ride.

Why get a 325i when you can have the GTP with more horses and whistles.

Pros:
I have a GTP, with 115,000 miles on it. It still has all the power it had when I first got it brand new in 1998. The handling is great and the stock system never lets me down. Just performed routine maintenance and it's been going strong from day 1.
Cons:
The power window motor is very weak, and I do have display problems with the radio.
Overall review:
The car has something for everyone, leather, speed, space and sound.

Pros:
The supercharged engine car has good power and acceleration. The car looks great.
Cons:
After 75K miles I have had numerous minor repairs.
Overall review:
Great car upfront. Handles great, looks great, and overall a really fun car; but I definately have some concerns about its long term durability.

"A really Grand Prix",
by Hank from New Mexico. on 02/28/2011.
Trim: 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT sedan, Owned more than 10 years.
Useful?
Pros:
Top of the list w/ Supercharger, it is fun to drive, dependable & doesn't look dated.
Cons:
The sports suspension is a little stiff & can be a bit uncomfortable on long drives. It is not
as good in snow & mud as I had hoped for, so on bad days I have to plan my outings.
Overall review:
Sorry GM retired Pontiac. I would buy another.
