Best GM car ever produced. by Mike, Pewaukee, WI on 07/12/2007. Trim: 1998 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight LS, Owned 9 years.

Pros: GREAT CAR! On my 4th 88 and wish I could buy a new one. 136K on this one, no end in sight. If this one ever breaks, I'll fix it because I can't buy another.
Cons: GM quit making them.
Overall review: From power to handling to interior and reliablity, this is the finest overall car ever produced by General Motors.

Good car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 01/08/2007. Trim: 1998 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight LS, Owned 4 years.
1
Pros: Very nice ride. Smooth. Good handling. Good mileage both city and highway. I bought at 43K miles, now 101K miles and I like it. Starts very fast even in cold weather.
Cons: Plastic intake manifold, broke at 60K. I liked the electronic dashboard on my 1990 Delta 88 more. The A/C seems a little underdimensioned.
Overall review: Nice car, too bad is not manufactured anymore.

Really good car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 06/19/2006. Trim: 1998 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight LS, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros: good perfomance, smooth ride, really good overall comfort
Cons: rear view mirrors a bit too small, window pillar on drivers and passanger side front side windows seem to block some of the view of the right and left side views and seem to make the drivers and passanger front side windows apear to be too small.
Overall review: Has lots of leg room for the front passangers as well as the back, I find that the smooth acceleration and seemless shifting of the transmition really make for a all around good quality vehicle.

An American Icon by Art from the Jersey Shore on 03/10/2005. Trim: 1998 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight LS, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Its a great car. I just wish they still made them. Very good pick up and almost problem free. And you kknow the best thing is that it is made in the good old USA by Americans.
Cons: The cup holder stinks....What were they thinking?
Overall review: This car is excellent from bumper to bumper...
