Wow im glad i bought this car by Dave E. on 12/26/2005. Trim: 1996 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency Elite Series II, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Very comfy ride, Love how i get 31.3 Miles/gal. Also love the Digital Dash w/ the Information Center. Never have to check your lights it tells you when you have one burned out which is nice. Speaking of that it says Back-Up Lamp out :-)
Cons: Could of made the remote keyless entry reach a little further
Overall review: Recommend to anybody who likes Olds and roomey cars :-)

Good first car by Young car worker from Ohio on 08/17/2014. Trim: 1996 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency Elite Series II, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: This is a very good car.. it is reliable and i trust it to get me everywhere i need to go. It is very comfy to ride in and it rides very smooth. There are many nice luxury features with this car and one that's very nice to have is all the extra space that you cant really get now without buying a van of some type. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a nicer, older car that is okay on gas. Mine gets generally around 19-25 mpg, but i drive mostly in town.
Cons: Some things that i don`t really like are all of the smaller problems that come up every so often.. this is only because they have the tendency to get very annoying. i have had no major problems with mine other than i replaced my radiator when the plastic on the side cracked. (about $60 when done by yourself) i have had misfires on my car lately, but all i had to do was buy some new spark plug wires for it (about $20). these were really my biggest problems that i have had so far with the car.. also it sits very low to the ground.. (about 4 inches off).
Overall review: It is a good reliable car for someone not looking to spend too much on an older vehicle that they could use as their daily driver. It only ever really has smaller, minor issues for the most part.

Outstanding in all respects. by Happy in CT. on 09/09/2002. Trim: 1996 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency Elite Series II, Owned 3 years.
Pros: How about 29.6 MPG for 300 miles+ with 5 people on board for starters? 3.8 liter is a good motor. Very comfortable interior, excellent factory sound. I can't believe that they no longer make them.
Cons: (No data provided)
Overall review: Outstanding in every respect. I have 110,000 miles on mine. It uses no oil, and gets an average of 24 MPG overall. It is comfortable, fast enough, and very competent. Great brakes. Very good factory sound. Excellent in winter months (CT), even better with snow tires on front.
