11 seconds for $5,000 by Brady on 12/18/2007. Trim: 1997 Nissan 200SX SE, Owned 6 years.
Pros: Avalable sr20de engine. Very reliable have owned for 5 years so far and only needed to change alternator and starter.
Cons: Rear beam suspension os hard to modify.
Overall review: after 5 years of owning this car I swapped the 1.6L for a 2.0L turbocharged engine. Its light weight and the powerful sr20det engine leaves it lacking for nothing. This is the perfect car for the most concerned driver(in stock form) to the road racing enthusiest(modified).

what a overlooked great value by sxsenis on 01/29/2005. Trim: 1997 Nissan 200SX SE, Owned 7 years.
Pros: very relible, great looking, great milage
Cons: dealership did not honor extended waranty. said the problem was not drive train related that it was because of the clutch(normal wear item) it turn out to be worn syncros in the manual trans, which should have been covered by the waranty. I now believe all waranties are scams.
Overall review: All in all the car has been great. proving to have a low annual cost to maintain and operate. Other than a dealership with poor buisness etheics this car has shined in every area. From milage to styling to preformance. I will own this car until it rusts to the ground. It has earned my admiration by saving me money and providing me with reliablity.

Great little car by 200sx driver from tennessee on 02/21/2002. Trim: 1997 Nissan 200SX SE, Owned 2 years.
Pros: They look great, I have had mine for 2 years now and have not had any trouble from it.
Cons: Adding big wheels seems to cause problems(warped rotors, loud humming, etc.) Lowering also causes problems due to limited inexpensive aftermarket performance products that are of a decent quality (shocks under $200 per corner)
Overall review: The cars are great. If you can afford the expensive aftermarket modifications, then you can have yourself a great showcar worthy of many awards. If you aren't into that scene, they make awesome daily drivers just as they came from the factory

Better than a Civic by metro racer (50) on 09/20/2001. Trim: 1997 Nissan 200SX SE, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I like the fact I don't have to gas up every couple of days because of the good gas mileage I receive. The car looks good and is pretty fuking reliable.
Cons: When this is bone stock it is straight up slow. I was surprised at the weak acceleration. I do have to say once you put on some basic bolt-ons it's pretty fast. It responds very fuking good to them, and can crush a civic with the same type of bolt-ons.(Of course not the SI)
Overall review: It's a good car which won't make you spend to much money on it. Once you put a little money into hooking it up a little it's tight.

The unltimate long distant runner by Wil, Kansas city on 08/14/2007. Trim: 1997 Nissan 200SX SE, Owned 4 years.
Pros: Very low maintenance, in 195,000 miles I have only had to do tune ups, alternator, and driver's side window.
Cons: Needs a little more power
Overall review: Excellent car for the money and great reliablity
