Pros:
Awesome vehicle. I hae owned a wide variety of cars in my lifetime and this was my favorite or maybe #2. My '90 Maxima SE "Black Beauty" was the total package. Performance, comfort, style.
I drove my Max for 100,000 miles having bought it in 1996 with 100,000 miles on it. At the time my county in FL had emission inspections and this cars numbers got better each and every year. If I could find a 1989-94 Maxima SE with less than 120,000 miles or so in clean shape I would buy it yesterday!
Cons:
Repair costs. When I owned mine from '96-'01 a majority of parts were still "dealer items".

Pros:
well made. Mine has 224,000 plus miles on it and it still gets 26 MPG with the a/c running. everything except the radio still works fine. The front suspenstion needs control arm bushings but thats it. It does not use oil. The exterior finish is rough due to rocks and the like, but it still shines up great. The only $$ I have put into this car is a Power steering hose, Brakes tires, oil changes.
Cons:
don't know of any. If GM or Ford made a vehicle as good as this manufacture, I would be buying their products. But until then, I can't afford their products as they do not hold up like these cars do.
Overall review:
Gr8 Car If the new Nisson products are anywhere as good as this product yr. then They are well worth a little extra $$

Great performance machine

Pros:
It handles perfectly, I change the suspension and wheels, lowered it and its a high performance driving machine.
Cons:
Too bad its a front wheel drive car, it could be like a Infiniti J 30 if it wasn't for that. All the rest is great.
Overall review:
I love driving this car, it handles nicely and it got good acceleration, I've had it for 4 yrs, and its been a great driving experience since day one.

attractive rear-styling, good performance, reasonable handling, very roomy and comfy

I LOVE THIS CAR
Overall review:
This car is over 13 years old but you wouldn't know it. It has about 100,000 miles and has not had any serious problems yet (and it doesnt seem like it will anytime soon) Its interior is timeless and still looks good to this day. The outside styling was well ahead of its time. And this baby has balls! will outrun most new cars without a sweat.

Pros:
Fun to drive with sleek styling for early nineties. Has one of the best V-6 motors available in that generation. EEC diagnostic modes are helpful problem solvers. Smooth 5 speed manual tranny. Dash display and accessory layout.
Cons:
Corrodes badly in trunk and rear wheel wells-particularly around the fuel filler tube. Electronic ignition components are unreliable-I'ne had to replace two distributers in four years! Bose system is disappointing.
Overall review:
A great car for me....I already had the tools! If you buy one of these you should be prepared to do some work. This also should not be your first attempts at auto work.Overall, a nice car thats fun to drive. Be careful not to break it! Much less fun.
